The hotel was average at best. In the business district which is not a location I recommend. We had to stay there because of a conference and it was more convenient. The lobby of this hotel is beautiful, but it ends there. The room was average. The problem I had was the fact that we had a sliver for a window and it was facing a large building. It was very dark and I did not feel like I was in New Orleans at all. I could have been in Atlanta, anywhere really. The bed was uncomfortable and we even found a drop of blood on the pillow. Ewww. We didn't say anything, just put it aside. The rooftop pool is pretty cool and the breakfast in the morning is a nice touch. I would not recommend this hotel to business travelers and would suggest staying in the Warehouse district and walk. We stayed in New Orleans for 4 days - 2 days here and 2 days at the Country Inn and Suites which we absolutely loved. Dark room, poor customer service, overcharged at checkout, blood on the pillow make me not want to stay here again.
