First off, the hotel was in a great location. It was within walking distance to the French Quarter, downtown, the waterfront, and the stadium. It is easy to find.
The hotel is in good condition, it was clean. The lobby was small, with a comfy salon off to the side.
The rooms were clean, spacious; we were a group of 4.All the other faced the street. I had a room with a frosted window that faced a wall. The washroom was clean and huge. The TV was hard to watch from one of the beds, and it is an old CRT.
The staff were friendly and attentive. Our luggage was left behind in Denver and the staff was on the look out for our luggage.
It is easy to get turned around in NO, and at night some areas near the hotel are a bit dodgy, but overall I felt safe.
The restaurant in the hotel had good food, and was remarkably cheap by my standards.
Overall I rate this hotel highly, I don't think I would call it a 4 star, but I would certainly stay there again
