One block off Bourbon Street, this is a perfect location to see and get in all the action. The staff was beyond helpful, they offered info and had lots of great ideas of where to eat and things to do. Our room was very large and spotless with 2 kings and wet bar. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Two couples could easily stay in the double King room, there is actually a door between making it al...

Do not be fooled by first impressions. The entrance is not grand, there are no flags or doormen, but it all changes once you're inside. The lobby and common rooms are marble, large and bright, with plenty of comfotable seating areas. Check in was easy and professional.
The suite was spotless, spacious and appeared to be newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was a tad tight for two people. Our room did not have a safe or magnifying mirror (our friends did have safes??). I was not impressed with the Starbucks, so use the room coffee maker and then go out for breakfast.
The location is great. We were there for graduation. The campus was a cab ride but graduation at the Superdome was a 15 minute walk. We rode the trolly to the Garden district, but other then that we walked everywhere. The French Quarter is outside your door. Jackson Square, French Market and the water front are a 10-15 walk. Royal St, The Napoleon House and the carousel bar are 5 minutes away. Bourbon St is the next block, but after a few minutes, move on... eww.
New Orleans is so much fun!! We would have no problem staying here again.

This hotel is located close to the French Quarters, yet far enough away to be quiet. The lobby has an odd lay out as you have to take an elevator from where you drop off your car, to the 2nd floor then a separate elevator to your room. Even though they seemed to be understaffed at the valet station were very friendly and fast. The room are spacious, we had a 2 queen suite, which was divided with barn style sliding doors. Keep the door open at night or the ones sleeping in the front room will get hot, it seemed the air vents were located in the back bedroom only.

The same sliding doors are on the bathroom and do not have a lock on it. The bathroom is very stylish, but not real practical. No places to hang towels except in the shower. Also we only had a shower, (all class enclosed, very nice looking) so if you are with small children may need to ask if you may have a room with a tub.

There is no pool at the hotel. You can swim at the Ritz for a $25 fee, per person per day!

The lobby is very modern with many seating areas with TV and computers galore! Free in room internet.

Rooms have fridges but no micro waves - I think they are located on various floors by the ice machines.

Would stay here again.

Recently stayed at this hotel for my bachelor party and the location could not have been better. It is in the french quarter and located withing walking distance of dining, shopping, and the harrahs casino. The rooms were extermely clean and modern and the beds were queit comfortable. The starbucks coffee shop in the lobby was a nice perk after a long night out on the town.

Room Tip: Get a room with two king beds

Let's start with the best part ...the rooms are beautiful, ..with a separate living room area and two TVs ...cool, clean magnificent!
The housekeeper and Valets were really friendly and helpful. But the front desk and main admin need training or something because most of them rarely smile and are less than welcoming . At one point I encountered the hotel's GM while attempting to purchase something from the hotel store and he wasn't friendly either. Oh well...I'd still stay again, because you don't get rid of a Cadillac just cause it's got a couple scratches.

This is a nice hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and perhaps its best attribute is the location. It is in the French Quarter and merely a block from Bourbon Street...convenient after a few Hurricanes! The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The layout of the hotel is bit odd....you need to take an elevator from the street to the lobby and then another elevator to your room. Despite that peculiarity the place is quite nice.

traveled 4/7 to 5/16 :Just wonderful. staff, room service, maid service.... stayed in room 1013 with pretty view from Andrew Jackson square to Louis Armstrong park. Clean hotel /room, bed and pillows so comfy! ordered room service pancakes very good and turkey club with fries (so good I ordered twice! feeds 2 for $18) Hotel on corner of dauphine & iberville literally one block from canal and bourbon st with access to Marriott property next door.... near by everything.... must try in new Orleans: drago's char grilled oysters, Stanly's for breakfast (served 7am to 10pm), bourbon house champagne oysters and veal dinner with potatoes, antique chandelier shops on royal st. , Ramolaude on bourbon st has great food for reasonable prices with a good happy hour as well
for the best happy hour and cheap eats try Cajun Mikes ask for Mary (across from the Roosevelt...beautiful hotel with awesome dessert bar)
