This hotel is located close to the French Quarters, yet far enough away to be quiet. The lobby has an odd lay out as you have to take an elevator from where you drop off your car, to the 2nd floor then a separate elevator to your room. Even though they seemed to be understaffed at the valet station were very friendly and fast. The room are spacious, we had a 2 queen suite, which was divided with barn style sliding doors. Keep the door open at night or the ones sleeping in the front room will get hot, it seemed the air vents were located in the back bedroom only.
The same sliding doors are on the bathroom and do not have a lock on it. The bathroom is very stylish, but not real practical. No places to hang towels except in the shower. Also we only had a shower, (all class enclosed, very nice looking) so if you are with small children may need to ask if you may have a room with a tub.
There is no pool at the hotel. You can swim at the Ritz for a $25 fee, per person per day!
The lobby is very modern with many seating areas with TV and computers galore! Free in room internet.
Rooms have fridges but no micro waves - I think they are located on various floors by the ice machines.
Would stay here again.
