Nice hotel! The staff upgraded us upon check in. They held our bags and asked us to get out and enjoy the day, since the room was not quite ready.

The lobby has a mini model of the city and the printer was helpful for flight passes. No complaints other than a few patrons being loud in the hallway in the wee hours, but it is New Orleans, afterall.

I wish they would have had a pool to enjoy at the end of a hot day.

We stayed here over New Years weekend. We got a great deal for the hotel and it was an even better deal because once we arrived at the Hotel we never needed to move our car. This hotel is prime location to Bourban Street, Canal Street, and the waterfront. The only downside to this hotel is that when you open up your curtains to check your view you get a nice view of the hallway (and this is why I downgraded it a star).
You have the option to do valet or to park your car in their garage for a reduced price. I highly recommend this as they only had one very nice gentleman who was parking cars and taking our bags to the room.
We had arrived super early on our check in date and they happily stored our bags for us, no complaints. Every time we needed recommendations or directions everyone was super nice and helpful.
Also there is a great little hole in the wall place called The Street Car...stop in for some amazing local food and great company.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The suite was very roomy and with a nice view of Baronne and a glimpse of the parade route on Canal St. The room was clean with a microwave and fridge. The bed was very comfortable which is always extremely important to us while traveling. The only problem that we had was the shower drain was completely clogged. It was a nice distance for walking to the French Quarter but far enough for quiet night's sleep. Will absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location for everything within walking distance close enough but without all the noise. Everyone from bellman, front desk, housekeeping etc. were excellent! Going to stay here every time while in New Orleans!
