“Fun on the airboat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

They get all the people who are riding in the airboats and
seperated them onto the boats. Then everyone leaves at the same time. It was great fun to ride in the swamps and to stop
and our guide feed a very large alligator. He had a small one on board with us. Loved it.

“This place will bug you!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We visited June 2013 and the bugs/flies were so bad that four of us turned back after 5 minutes. My husband kept walking and did see 2 alligators but they are hard to find in this natural habitat, which is beautifully preserved. If I went again and wanted to walk any amount Id bring mosquito netting. Visitors center was excellent.

“Very informative and enjoyable walking tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We enjoyed our walking tour with historical highlights led by an enthusiastic ranger. If I had it to do over again, I would work the tour and visit in earlier in the time I had to spend int the city.

“It's a fun and educational stroll”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

They provide free riverfront stroll daily, and a ranger will tour you. Make sure you be there by 9:00am as the spot is limited (I like small group, it's efficient). My husband and I found this is a very educational tour, as our ranger is very knowledgable and she was a teacher (knows how to present the information clearly). Strongly recommended for family with kids, it's FREE!
