“A lunch to remember”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This was one of those lunches that "you had to be there." If I told you that a meal consisting of nothing but champagne and French fries would be one of the best dining experiences we had in New Orleans, you'd think I was nuts. Well, it was. From the location, service, and food - all first rate. We have to go back to explore more of the menu - sweetbreads, anyone? - but for a place right off Jackson Square, where you expect to find tourist traps, this is a find.

“Great dinner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

After looking at their website, I was expecting a quiet, white tablecloth type place. Definitely not the case. It is pretty loud and sort of a hipster vibe. But the food is wonderful. I would agree that it's too dark to,actually see your food but its still wonderful. The entrance is strange too as there is not much of an official entrance. Must go down a little alley to get in the back door. But again I must reiterate that the food is worth it. I had the hanger steak and brussel sprout salad.

“Delicious first dinner of our trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

Great local restaurant recommended to us by our B&B Innkeepers.

Food was amazing and service was good! My wife had the Gulf Shrimp Pirlou and I had the Braised Beef Cheeks.

We would both recommend this place for a nice dinner in the heart of the French Quarter!

“Excellent but”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

Food was great...our only complaints were it was noisy and the outside courtyard wasn't open and it was too dark...couldn't read menu or see our delicious food very well. Had beef belly, Brussel sprout salad and duck confit....also root beer float.
