“Lots of bargains and hand made items.”

I really liked the French Market, more like a flea market. Tons of vendors some of the typical tourist stuff, and quite a few vendors selling their hand made wares. There are also food booths, fresh fruit, pastries a little bit of everything. I had some great finds, I spent several hours here for sure. Most of the vendors were very friendly and willing to haggle.

“Great Shopping Spot”

The french market is a great shopping spot. There is lots of little booths set up with goods. There are little food shops there as well. The place is all open air with is really nice.

“Good clean fun”

Jazz breakfast, loved the flea market and all the local artists selling their goods. We loved the street musicians playing while we shopped and ate.

Strolled through the open air vendors and then the brick and mortar shoppes. Open air market is typical flea market wares but the brick and mortar shoppes offer NOLA goods. Aunt Sally's has the best pralines... waistlines be warned!

“Fun atmosphere - true market style.”

Alot of different vendors. Many of them are willing to "barter" a little bit. Alot of local crafts as well as nummy food items.
