Jazz breakfast, loved the flea market and all the local artists selling their goods. We loved the street musicians playing while we shopped and ate.
Strolled through the open air vendors and then the brick and mortar shoppes. Open air market is typical flea market wares but the brick and mortar shoppes offer NOLA goods. Aunt Sally's has the best pralines... waistlines be warned!
Alot of different vendors. Many of them are willing to "barter" a little bit. Alot of local crafts as well as nummy food items.
If you are going to New Orleans and the French Quarter, you should definitely check this place out. While a lot of the vendors sell the typical farmers market stuff (scarves, wallets, purses, etc.) there are a lot of local artisans who bring their wares to be sold. I always find an interesting item here! There are also a few food vendors that serve local cuisine (alligator sausage, pralines, spices).
this is the place to try all types of food from LA. Anything from gator bites to PO Boys.. awesome food. great place to buy cheap souvenirs. its located in a great place close to bourbon street and next to the Mississippi river.
