The vendors were colorful, friendly, and helpful. Most items were very similarly priced from vendor to vendor.

What more can you ask for...the French Market has great buys, people watching and food. Be sure to look around and find the best deal. Stop at one of the food places and talk to the locals. They will tell you some good tips on food, shops and bands. We had beautiful weather and it was a pleasure visiting.

So many different things to see. Many local artists. Fun stroll through aisles and aisles of novel gifts and jewelry.

I would recommend this for people watching.There is a great atmosphere and many goods for sale. I bought some reall nice hand crafted childrens toys and the music and banter on the stalls was well worth it. You can easliy be charmed into parting with your money so dont buy unless you ealy want to. Localzs are not embarassed if you say that you do not want to buy. There is the ususal suspects of tie dyed generic travellers clothes on sale, but there are also artisan goods and I really enjoyed the atmposphere. As with any market, keep your valuables close and soak up the sing song accents as you browse.
