5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2011

We stayed in a king suite with club level access and it was absolutely fantastic. Rooms were well decorated and very clean-loved having a bath and a half. Club level lounge was also amazing-delicious snacks offered throughout the day, champagne from noon on, and the most beautiful furnishings. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Location was also great. Just a block and a half off of Bourbon-we felt safe walking back to the hotel, even at night. Just excellent all around!

When staying at the Ritz there is no comparison, except other Ritz hotels. The customer service is second to none. The location is excellent, right around the corner from Bourbon Street. The staff was great, the Spa was nice and the gym was good too. Our room was spacious and what you would expect from the Ritz. I would suggest to get a room with a view of the atrium. We stayed on a Friday night and the hotel had a great Jazz musician playing. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Try out a room with a view of the atrium

I stay at Ritz Carlton hotels regularly across the country. This is the second time I have been here and the service at the front desk is equivalent to that of a Marriott. The only one that is great is Howard the door man. He loves his job.

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The location is great and is an easy walk to the sites in the French Quarter. The room was immaculate as were the common areas. There was great jazz in the lounge. Overall, it was a lovely hotel to stay at.

Great location and comparable prices to other upscale hotels in the area....we stay here every year because it's just off Bourbon but far enough for it not to be noisy. We heard great things about Royal Sonesta, but apparently you have to stay more than 3 nights and we didn't have that long to stays we opte for old faithful Ritz and it was just as great as the 3 years prior! Next we'll be staying at the Ritz Grand Cayman again for the location and the consistency!

I normally go out of my way to stay at a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons and on a recent trip to New Orleans stayed at the Ritz Carlton on Canal Street. It's a wonderful place with the service you would come to expect from Ritz Carlton. The room was very nice, the health club is an excellent facility, and of course the staff is very accommodating. The one complaint I had was with the key card system used to access the room. We repeatedly had problems with the card entry system and had to go to the lobby twice to get new cards, which then only worked after multiple attempts to enter the room. Other than that small inconvenience, it was a wonderful experience.

Congratulations to the Ritz Carlton. We've stayed several time but this was our first post-katrina. I've had some issues in the past but they were all addressed this visit. First, front desk staffing was both plentiful and helpful. Never a wait and they were quick with solutions. The room was top-notch and everything was exceptional. Thanks guys!
