While this B&B is just a block off the identified French Qtr, it is close to everything and an easy walk through the quarter to wherever you want to be. We had the Connick room and were pleased with the spaciousness - with two separate bedrooms (connected by a shared bathroom). Almost daily we took a break to sit at the bistro table in the gardens, enjoying the fountain, the shade, and a bottle of wine with some snacks. The heart and soul of the New Orleans Jazz Quarters are the hosts Vincent and Lola and all the other people who work on site - they really made the stay pleasant and were always attentive to your needs, remembering how you like your coffee in the morning or other details. The people who work there are really wonderful and they deserve a lot of credit for the success of this B&B.

Room Tip: Personally I wouldn't want a room near the front gate, as it bangs loudly unless the people comi...

Vincent and Lola are welcoming, kind, personable, knowledgeable, informative, accommodating hosts! Vincent and Lola listen and are very perceptive of what you want from your trip and they go the extra mile plus to assist and find what you want. Add Charles with his knowledge and ability to convey that knowledge like an old friend over a cup of coffee, Sam and his personable sense of humor and willingness to help, Brenna's friendly, energetic service and you have a support system at your fingertips. It was the perfect balance of help and privacy. We had a romantic private get away. The Kermit cottage accommodations gave us a home away from home feeling and a perfect nite's sleep every night The courtyard is beautiful/private and the breakfasts were delicious.

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Kermit" cottage. The cottage was clean, clean, clean, spacious, beautifu...

From the moment the gate opened into this charming enclave of cottages and we were greeted by Vincent and Lola we knew we had made the right choice of a place to stay close to the hub of the French Quarter but far from the maddening crowd.
The Kermit cottage was charming, so very comfortable from the bed to the living room that we felt like it was our home for 5 nights. The bathroom was well appointed, comfortable with lots of space under the sink to store all our toiletries without having to look at them all the time. A real plus for those who like clean spaces.
Vincent and Lola spent so much time helping to orient us, point us in the right directions, give us safety tips, dinning tips, all over a glass of wine if one wants to imbibe in the early afternoon.
Breakfast was a delightful experience sitting in the outdoors overlooking the lovely old courtyard.
This truly is a gem in a quiet safe area on the edge of the French Quarter without the noise and city feeling of being right in the middle of everything.

From our warm welcome and most enjoyable conversations with Vince and Lola, to our most delightful breakfasts which we looked forward to each morning in anticipation, to the spotless and most comfortable and roomy 'cottage' - we lacked for nothing here. Such a wonderful stay and most appreciated Vince and Lola's suggestions on where to eat and where to hear the music we wanted to listen to. Vince and Lola made our stay fabulous and we very much appreciated meeting them, such a pleasure.

My husband and I stayed at the Jazz Quarters for a week in May/13. We can't say enough about this B&B !! Vincent and Lola are excellent hosts - they truly went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. The Jazz Quarters is within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in the French Quarter but far enough away that you have a peaceful nights sleep. I highly recommend this B&B and SO look forward to returning very soon ! Thanks to Vincent and Lola for everything - we look forward seeing you again soon. xo
PS We stayed in the Kermit Room :)

The title says it all! My husband and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary in New Orleans and it happenned to be Jazz Fest weekend. It was my husband's first time visiting NOLA and my first time back since Katrina. Prior to the hurricane, I had been to NOLA numerous times and stayed at many of NOLA's fine hotels and a few other B&B's. I like to stay at different places and different locations around NOLA. All that has changed! My husband and I LOVED the Jazz Quarter so much that we will only stay here in the future!

We found a bargain of a deal on the Megabus and decided to take the trip. We arrived at 5am(!) and Lola welcomed us into our room at the early hour (since it wasn't booked the night before). We stayed in the Fountain cottage and it was beautiful and very comfy. We immediately went to sleep until 10am. Then they even fed us breakfast! What a breakfast it was too! All of the breakfasts were fabulous! My husband usually does not get up and eat breakfast right away but he did every morning on this trip!

Charles sat with us after breakfast and gave us great advice about restaurants and tours. He made reservations for a swamp tour which was a lot of fun and very interesting. We ate at many great restaurants and walked all over. The Jazz Quarters' location is ideal; it is close to everything but far enough away from the craziness.

We made tasty mimosas every morning from the bottle of champagne that Lola and Charles brought to our room to celebrate our anniversary.

Our bus back home did not leave until midnight; even though the room was booked for that night, Lola and Vincent were kind enough to let us keep the keys to the gate and store our luggage until right before we left. Lola, Vincent, and Charles went above and beyond the call of duty and really seem to enjoy it. We will definetly be back...soon! Thank you again for a wonderful anniversary! Really, everything was PERFECT!

We stayed at the Jazz Quarters for 5 nights during a recent driving holiday around the Southern United States.
The complex is made up of several cottages all with a Jazz musician theme. We stayed in Armstrong which was lovely but my impression is that all the rooms are very nice.
Vincent and Lola are amazing hosts - friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to give good advice and great tips about what to do and see and where to eat.
While we were there, we went to a fantastic open air music concert at the nearby Louis Armstrong Park (just across the road from the Jazz Quarters) and it was really great to see everyone supporting the local talent.
Because the JQ is so close to the French Quarter, once we had parked our car, there was no need at all to use it for practically the whole of our stay in New Orleans, and we hopped on the streetcar whenever we wanted to venture out of the local area.
There is a reason that the JQ is consistently no 1 on Tripadvosor. We would recommend it 100% and will definitely stay here again if we come back.

Room Tip: Don't be concerned about rooms next to the street (Armstrong and Marsalis). It is quiet at night...
