The beginning of our stay was very tedious; The 800 number for Wyndham gave me different information about rates and tax information than the people on hotel premises and this was a very big ordeal for me; at one point we were locked out of our rooms because of this miscommunication and I had to return to the hotel from my conference to take care of it. Also, I had four rooms booked and they were not all on the same floor which was a problem, even though I booked the rooms a month and a half in advance. There didn't seem to be much communication between front desk and management offices, and every time I had a question or problem with my rooms I had to explain my situation to each person from the beginning because nobody had information. In the beginning front desk staff was discourteous to me over the phone and at registration (it was the same person both times,) but after my concerns were finally delivered to the general manager (through customer care via Wyndham's 800 number) things were much better. I believe that the general manager is invested in making a stay at his hotel a good experience but the lack of communication between departments at the hotel and with the main office makes that very difficult.
