“New Orleans Bucket List”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

The beignets are FANTASTIC. Don't go during the day, I feel like its a night place. If it's hot get their frozen cafe au lait which I really enjoyed.

“Yum”

Liked: Tasty beignets - lots of powdered sugar.

Disliked: Dirty bathroom and dirty restaurant floor.

“Touristy place you have to check off the list”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

The beignets were great, and that's why we went...but everything else was a beating!

Terrible service, totally over-crowded. They are pushing people through this joint like its nobody's business. I wish I could say it wasn't worth it, but you can get in and out so quickly and the beignets are quite delicious.

Don't look in the kitchen or on the ground though....it's not the cleanest place in an already dirty town.

“The BEST!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

If you are looking for the quintessential New Orleans experience, here it is. Nothing fancy. Outdoor seating. Sometimes long lines. Open 24/7.
But they have Beignets!!
Seriously, this is the one and only place to get real New Orleans Beignets and Cafe au Lait.
It is a MUST stop on your New Orleans tour...

“Without a doubt the highlight ...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

We weren't expecting much, which might be why it BLEW OUR SOCKS OFF. Great doughnuts, the Cafe au Lait was incredible. The servers were curt, but given the volume of tourists and the heat, it's understandable. If you're near NOLA, you need to visit this spot.
