My sister and I visited Creole Gardens in New Orleans 2 weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, fun,and quite knowledgeable. The recommendations from where to eat to listening to music were incredible. To see such hope from the people around is to truly understand the human condition.

The Inn is a little oassis and has quite a flair. It is very close to Bourbon Street and all the bustle but the right distance away so you can have some quiet. The rooms are wonderful and breakfast homemade. I highly recommend staying at the Creole Gardens.

A friend and I stayed at the Creole Gardens that was recommended to us from a local volunteer group. We loved the place. The staff (they truly are more like family) was fabulous. Annie’s breakfasts kept us going all day. Andy regaled us in great stories that kept us rapt. They have created such a warm and inviting environment. Next time I’m down in New Orleans, I will definitely stay there and recommend others to do so as well.

After checking into another hotel and spending one miserable night (it was a perfectly nice place before Katrina), we went searching for a place to spend the rest of our vacation and found the Creole Gardens. The place accomodated us immediately, offered us a full and amazing breakfast, and put us in really well remodelled rooms. The only downside is that it is a block from St. Charles (instead of on it) and below the Garden District's populated area - so there is really nothing there when you walk out the front door, but a block away is St. Charles. The people were amazing, Annie was a great cook and Uli incredibly helpful to ensure that we had a great time, and to make sure we would come again... which we will! Having lived in New Orleans in the past, and visited many times since moving away, I would stay here again, again and again.

Being my first time in New Orleans I was very skeptical and even a little terrified because of all of the stories I have heard but what a fantastic surprise. I was very refreshed by the charming, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere of the Creole Gardens. As wonderful, as our stay was I do not believe it would have been so if not for Mattie. When we arrived, she showed us to our room and made feel as if we had been coming there to stay all along. She was so very friendly and took time with not only us but also all the guest. Thank you for a wonderful first time in New Orleans it wouldn’t have been so without the Creole Gardens.

We stayed here and loved it. Clean and comfy, halfway between the Garden District and French Quarter - great for walking. Andy was very helpful with recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to see and do. Maddie was a perfect Southern host (she's from Chicago) making breakfast to order. The rest of the staff was also friendly and gracious.
We stayed in "The Cottages" and loved the painted sink in the bathroom. The courtyard with banana tree was something we never see in New England.
This part of New Orleans seems to be up and running for tourists, with many wonderful restaurants right nearby.
We recommend this Bed and Breakfast for anyone who wants to get away from the monster hotel experience.
