The grounds need cleaned up. I saw weeds and things needed painted. You park on the street and we found glass all over. The breakfast was good, but not plentiful. I think the staff needs to pay attention to how things look and room amenities.

i looked for a place to stay that was affordable and had some character so it didnt seem like anytown, usa. i was excited to find this place which provided great rates for jazzfest weekend and also offered a daily hot southern breakfast! signed, sealed, delivered. when i got there, it was even better than expected. the staff is SO friendly and helpful, the courtyard with fountain is so great to relax in at any time of day or night, the rooms were simple but sufficient. i hated leaving this place after four days because i began to feel like i lived there. so comfortable, great location (i walked to the quarter daily and loved being in the garden district with beautiful houses and lots of trees, good restaurants nearby), great vibe. i cant say enough good things. thanks, creole gardens, for such a great time in nola!

A bunch of my fellow Team Yahoo!s stayed at the Creole gardens for the first weekend of Jazz 'Fest. The entire crew not only tolerated our unusual requests but provided excellent service, from the wonderful breakfast with live music to the ice cold Abitas at the end of the day.
Bike rentals were the key to hassle free transport to and from the fairgrounds each day.
The Creole's location was perfect for dining and venues in the garden warehouse and french quarter.

The people that work here make this place work in so many ways. They are so helpful, yet unobtrusive. I felt quite at home here and so did Dude, my dog. If you need any travel ideas, Madeline and John will come to your rescue. They are so helpful and sweet. Take my advice and come here for a great stay in New Orleans. The best breakfast in the world can be had here cooked by the wonderful and charming Ms. Annie. Tell her Becky sent you.
