I truly enjoyed my stay at Creole Gardens. I stayed there with a student group during my spring break. We were in New Orleans for the week doing volunteer work. I had never stayed in a B&B before, and Creole Gardens far surpassed my expectations.

The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I especially appreciated Miss Annie adjusting the breakfast service time for us so that those of us that had to leave for work before the normal breakfast time could have something to eat beside cold cereal.

Creole Gardens has a very pleasant atmosphere aesthetically as well. The outside is very scenic, the courtyard is enchanting and inviting and the rooms are beautiful. The interior decorating is well done and the hardwood floors are a charming touch.

I was extremely pleased with my stay and would definitely stay here again.

I booked a 4 night stay at the Creole Gardens after reading all of the wonderful reviews. One of the biggest perks of this b&b is the breakfast! It was absolutely delicious! Other than that, everything else was just ok. The grounds were ok...nothing special or breathtaking. The house does not have a common area i.e living room other than the dining area where you eat. And that was only ok. The room was not worth what we paid for it. We booked the penthouse in the main mansion. The decor was basic and plain. The staff (uly and the cook) were very friendly and accommodating. The stairs in the main mansion are very slippery and you can easily fall. The neighborhood was not very attractive either. Overall I would say our experience was average. The breakfast and the staff are what made it. I have definitely been to better b&b's before.
