I loved this B&B. What a fantastic home. Interesting, artsy, charming, comfortable are a few of the words that best describe it.

From the minute you are greeted by your welcoming hosts, you feel right at home. The walk through the outside garden loaded with blooming flowers and exotic trees soothe you before you even reach your room.

The rooms are cozy and loaded with character. The big, fluffy four poster bed and old fashioned ceiling fan add to the New Orleans charm.

Great old cat in the outside garden, where you can sit, read and relax. Outside of our room we had a bubbling fountain w/ tropical fish. Wonderful.

I will return next year. I hope the best for the owners. My heart is heavy to think this great home may have been affected by the storm.

We had such a great time on our trip. The whole staff was nice and wonderful. Breakfast each morning was great you get to meet a lot of nice people while enjoying breakfast outside on the terrance. The rooms are all unique with wonderful design and plenty of space. The price is wonderful (we stayed 8 nights) and you get FREE parking. Trust me you cannot find a lot of free parking in this city! You are just moments away from the French Quater and downtown. Minutes away from the Garden District. Need something to do just ask the staff they make wonderful suggestions from shopping to resturants they are great. If you want hospitality come stay at the New Orleans Guest House! You will enjoy everything and the gardens well I could just go on. You can bet that we will be staying again!

Not only are the rooms great, but the location and people are wonderful! You couldn't ask for a better hotel! If you stay here, you will definetly enjoy it. The beautiful court yard is a great place to sit and relax. They even have a cat which makes you feel right at home. This really is the best hotel in New Orleans. I am definetly staying here again.

pluses...onsite parking free, quiet, close to French Quarter, security, friendly, neat old cat, good air conditioning, clean place.

minuses...lacks hot breakfast...you get a nice warm cresant, a few pieces of sliced fruit and good coffee, small rooms, no frigerater in room, expect to do a lot of walking to all the sites away from French Quarter.

Overall a nice place for those who want quiet and not too far from all the action. If you have a car this is the place to stay. Park it and leave it...no extra fee. airport is 28 dollars to and from for 1 or 2 people...don't take the shuttle at $12 a person...they stop at many places boefore you get to your hotel...cab is faster and takes you right to the door. If this is your first trip to New Orleans...don't rent a car...pleanty to do by walking and or public transportation.
