Wife and I stayed the first weekend of Dec. Beautifully decorated. Wonderfully staffed: they are engaging; ready to address any need, problem, challenge. Very impressive. Not just service oriented, but connect with you personally. Suite was outstanding. Although we had always stayed in the quarter, this Location on the edige is great. Great food/drink/service/room. This is a great historic New Orleans hotel. Take some time and ask about it while you are there.

Room Tip: I would ask for a room looking at Canal street. It looks over the quarter. I like the higher the b...

I stayed recently at the Roosevelt with a group of friends. The superior rooms we got were excellent and quite spacious. The location is also excellent. Walking distance to the French Quarter and to the Superdome as well. Some of the charges are excessive, like the $50 valet parking fee, and the room service delivery fee, but overall, the hotel was great.

We reserved the Roosevelt at a Papa Noel rate for our first anniversary. We live near NOLA and had heard only good things about the hotel. Everyone was right. It is a special hotel. The lobby was decorated for the holidays and lovely, although creating a lot of congestion with the picture takers and perusers. Our room was a deluxe king in tower 2. It was both the most lovely room I've ever stayed in and the tiniest, with seemingly massive furnishings. It all fit, with a path around the room, but no room to spare which was fine for us. The bed was deliciously comfortable. The bathroom had a shower only, which is a minus for me, and next time I'll be specific about room with a bathtub. We had PJ's coffee at Teddy's Cafe and breakfast at the Sazerac restaurant, which was of course nice and pricey. Valet parking is $40. It was perfect for our special occassion and we definitely look forward to another visit.

Room Tip: Ask it the room has a tub.

After spending the day traversing the French Quarter, nothing beat going back to our glorious suite at The Roosevelt. Beautiful decor and superb service make this hotel stand out as a sure thing in New Orleans. The old architecture draws you in to explore the lobby and delve into its past. The Blue Room, known for it's lavish affairs from World War I and the question of where Huey Long's "box" could be located. We picked one of the perfect times to go check out this lovely hotel, Christmas. Decked to the nines, as well as the halls, you couldn't help but be mesmerized. Will be more than happy to go back to The Roosevelt again!

We spent three nights over Thanksgiving in a luxurty suite at the hotel.

The suite was very nice, but the service from the hotel is what exceeded our expectations. My husband forget a few articles of clothing in a drawer when we checked out. When we called to check if they found it, we were immediately connected w/ secuirty which checked their computer, Yes, it had been found; they sent it to us via UPS the next day. The service our entire stay was always prompt, courteous and better than we expected.

My wife and I spend a wonderful week in New Orleans in Oct. What a fantastic time. We stayed at the beautiful Roosevelt Hotel on Baronne street. This property is without a doubt the finest hotel in down town New Orleans. Everything was new and clean and restored to its formal glory. World class food and service with the exception of the help and staff in the coffee shop. These guys had a real attitude and we heard several other guests complaining about them. The good news is there is a Star Bucks just one block toward the river.

The Roosevelt right across Canal street from the French Quarter. We walked to the French Market for Breakfast in the morning. We caught the Garden District trolley right outside the front door of the hotel ($3.00 for a full day pass) We listened to the street musicians. (Our favorite was a seven piece band call Skinny Tuba) We ate great food every night. There is so much to do in this lovely town. We just had a blast.

The Roosevelt is expensive but given its location and its true class style it is worth every penny.

Room Tip: We were on the 13th floor facing the river. Bourbon Street was loud even that far up. All the rooms...

We stayed at Roosevelt for Thanksgiving for two nights. We had a great room and the service was excellent. Beautiful decoration and decor throughout. We expected it to be really good based on recommendation from a friend and it absolutely met or exceeded our expectations. Verty happy and satisified.
