“another great time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Wonderful as the first time, we'll keep coming back as long as Rob and Kevin let us. Rob and Kevin are just as i remembered - considerate and charming and Kevin is an artist with all the food creations!
We loved meeting people and talking in the courtyard with our new friends and the roomy Barbados suite - such a treat!
We'll be back to New Orleans next year as we can't fit everything into 2 trips, especially all the great restaurants we have to try.

Room Tip: Barbados suite was roomy!

HOGS & QUICHES! You two are the greatest! The only problem was seeing upside down smiles on Dana & Tom's faces when they heard you left the day before they arrived...but new friends, Holly, Mike & Jackie might meet you trekking in Nepal...Love you HARD, but there's no Barney's and no 4 Seasons Hotel there...we'll NEVER make it!
Thank you Pumpkins!

There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said on here already! Our stay at B&W was wonderful and very memorable.

The neighborhood is residential, and not commercial. It's very walkable with Frenchman Street being between the B&W and the French Quarter. Frenchman is great for authentic music and decent places to grab a drink. Not as 'Frat Boy' ridden as Bourbon Street.

We stayed in the Front Carriage room for 4 nights, and have no complaints. It wasn't huge with a lot of open floor space, but it was perfect for me and my wife.

On Saturday night we did hear some foot traffic outside of our room but that was just people walking home from a night out having fun. Other nights, we didn't notice much street noise at all. Overall, the room was very nice. The bed was super comfortable, and the linens were of a very high quality.

When I made my reservation over the phone, Rob told me the bathroom was small and of a unique configuration where the shower is in an open place that will get the toilet wet. When we arrived and I saw it, it wasn't as bad as I expected. I can see how some people with high expectations and extravagant tastes would have a problem with the bathroom, so the Front Carriage room may not be for those types of people.

I read in past reviews that breakfasts with Rob and Kevin were awesome. Well, in reality they are better than awesome. They compliment each other so well, with Rob's entertaining stories, and Kevin's fruit works of art and pastries. You won't leave the table over stuffed, but there is enough to hold you over until you find one of the thousands of lunch spots in the city!

Also, Rob's advice was invaluable. Every place we ate came recommended and he never steered us wrong once!

We stay at Bed and Breakfasts because of the hospitality, relationship with the innkeepers, and the uniqueness of rooms that you just don't get from hotels. With the B&W, we got exactly what we wanted in all three.

We can't wait til the next time we go to New Orleans, there is no question we will stay at the B&W again.

Room Tip: Front Carriage may not be your 1st choice if complete silence is your hope.

This was the first time to NOLA from my wife and I, and we are so glad we stumbled on this B&B. Rob and Kevin are excellent hosts. You get a good sense of what you will get by reading reviews here and checking out there website. HIghlights of staying here are:

Walk a few blocks to the best music in New Orleans without cover charges on Frenchmen street.

Great recommendations on where to eat, what to see, and where to avoid.

Wonderful conversations with Rob in the morning over breakfast. (And I don't normally enjoy that at B&Bs.)

All in all, this was the perfect place for our romantic getaway. And I'm so glad we didn't stay in one of the hotels in the French Quarter, it would have been an entirely different experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Small Suite" and were very happy. Of course, we didn't spend much ti...

We stayed here over Mardi Gras 2013, and Rob & Kevin were amazing hosts. Everything everyone else has said is true: Rob is hilarious, and has the best recommendations for everything to do, see, and eat, and Kevin is a very warm, lovely person who makes amazing breakfasts! It was the perfect place to stay over Mardi Gras; close enough to the action, but a welcome respite from the craziness at the same time.

The B&B is in a lovely neighbourhood that is just a few minutes from Frenchmen Street and only about 10 minutes' walk from the heart of the French Quarter, and the building, gardens, and rooms are beautiful. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in NOLA.

ps. Rob & Kevin, we accidently stole your book from the room when we were packing up - it's in the mail now :)

Rob and Kevin are great hosts. I don't know when I have laughed so much at Rob's stories of New Orleans and their adventures. Kevn's breakfasts were the best. Advice on what to do, where to go and what not to do were right on. Eating and music recommendations were right on.
We hope to return again soon.

We spent a wonderful week with Rob and Kevin. Amazing hosts, delightful and charming accommodation, and excellent location. It could not have been better. Starting each day with Kevin's great breakfast and Rob's insider tips on the NOLA experience was wonderful. We have stayed in many B&Bs, but never with such gracious and amusing hosts. Not for you if you want a standard hotel room and amenities, perfect for you if you want a real New Orlean's experience,

Our NOL experience would not have been complete without meeting Rob and Kevin. They were remarkable hosts. Rob sat us down and told us where to go , the best places to eat , the sites to see and where to go to hear the best music in NOL. Kevin put together an artistic scrumptious breakfast and made sure our rooms were well stocked and incredibly clean. Together they made our stay at B and W Courtyards a great experience
