“Wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Rob and Kevin were one of the highlights of our trip to NOLA. Beautiful courtyard and room, wonderful food, and even better personalities. They are hysterical, kind, and made great recommendations. We will not stay anywhere else in NOLA.

We travelled here for Mardi Gras for four days in February. The room we had was just great and our hosts, Rob and Kevin gave us all the neat insider tips on places to eat and visit in New Orleans.

The location is also great because it is close to action of the French quarter while being far enough away from the riff raff of bourbon st. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Rob & Kevin have a really good thing going - their B&B is comfortable, clean, secure, and very convenient to Bourbon Street but still far enough away to not be surrounded by all the craziness - this was especially important during our Mardi Gras visit. Breakfast was fantastic except we almost choked a few times from laughter as Rob would tell his many stories (BTW, if you're close minded or a negative person, you're NOT going to have a good time here). There's no question where we will stay the next time we visit NoLA. Oh, and the WIFI is good if you have to catch up on work like I did.

We came to town for the Rock n' Roll Marathon, but we also came for the culture of the city. Being situated so close to Frenchman's Avenue allowed us to experience just that. Bourbon Street is great, but there is something special about Kevin and Rob's neighbourhood. The fact that they are the consummate hosts doesn't hurt either! I am celiac and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs. Thank you so much for welcoming us so warmly to your city!

Room Tip: Bring good walking shoes!

I hate b&b's. always have. But I fear that my stay with Kevin and Rob has changed all that. The courtyards immediately felt like home away from home, thanks entirely to rob and Kevin's hospitality. The location is perfect, beds / rooms very comfortable... Breakfast was southern and delicious. (Kevin's biscuits!). What topped it off was Rob's New Orleans knowledge. His 'things to do in new Orleans' pretty much made our trip. I didn't think I'd enjoy my time in "Nola", but now I'm planning to come back ASAP.

We stayed there for our anniversary. I absolutely love the courtyard style of the property. It is very charming from the decor, the architecture and the garden. It's also a great location. Rob and Kevin and a delight and really know their city. We had tons of great recommendations from them which were all spot on. If we are in NOLA and they have a room available, that's where you'll find us!

My wife and I brought our families to the B&W Courtyards five years ago for our wedding and had the most memorable stay that we cannot help going back again and again. Rob and Kevin are wonderful and the location is superb especially if you enjoy walking. Stay at the B&W Courtyards, you won't regret it!
