“The real deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

Creepy, with a thick, thick,THICK atmosphere of otherworldly presences. Im not big into that stuff, and never have had any ghost experiences of my own, but the feelings here are so saturated with death and decay. Its almost like you are being watched when you are there. Such history! This is a must do. Maybe not every trip but at least once in your lifetime.

“Fascinating place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Quick walk from the French Quarter, very nice New Orleans visitors center around the corner. We visited with Strange True Tours, and it was fascinating. You would be perfectly safe going without a tour during the day, but you would miss out on a lot. In addition to Nicholas Cage's tomb, you'll see the huge Italian tomb featured in one of the controversial scenes from the movie Easy Rider. You'll learn a great deal not just about the cemetery, but the history of New Orleans.

“Really cool!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

I loved seeing this cemetary. It had a very eerie feel to it knowing the bodies were all above ground. It's like a maze of tombs.

“Must Go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Take a camera!!! "BUT DO NOT GO ALONG" it in a part of town. Stay close to the people you went with. The famous Voodoo Queen is buried her "Marie Laveau, and her daughter is also buried her name is the same as her mother. There is a tomb built for Nicholas Cage. All the Tombs are all very interesting. Plan on spending about five hours.
