I've visited the beautiful park several times, but this was my first
time attending the annual Celebration of the oaks events.
The park is beautiful, lots of food, great live entertainment
and wine and spirits of all kinds.
Perfect for bike riding, strolling, pedalboating... Museums, gardens, gondola rides, amusement park and a train ride, too!
I visited New Orleans at least a dozen times before finally visiting City Park. This is a very special public place, a wonderful attraction for a good half-day visit, and it's free! The collection of public art spaced throughout is fantastic, the landscaping is beautiful, and there's plenty to do and see for families, couples, or even solo for a bit of solitude away from the bustle of the city. Gardening enthusiasts should also visit the Botanical Garden attached to the park.
I loved a bike trip to this Park to see all statues of different artists, just amazing, this park looks bigger than central park in Manhattan
We loved the sculpture garden and its free to the public! Very pretty park. Nice way to spend an hour or two.
