All in all, a very interesting museum. My uncle who was turning 90 wanted to have his birthday celebration there. The museum organized a 3-D movie for us and afterwards we had dinner in the restaurant. The food was very good and excellent service. It is a museum that shouldn't be overlooked with all New Orleans has to offer.
unbelievable! it's a must see. everyone in my family enjoyed it. all ages were impressed. informative and fun.
They are expanding heavily and I can't wait to return when it is all done. My wife was very reluctant to go and ended up really enjoying the exhibit

It's extensive and involved; I have a short attention span - the movie, narrated by Tom Hanks and a host of actors, was VERY informative and interesting about WWII. Then you go see the exhibits you like without feeling like you missed anything if you skip along. For avid historians, its a must. For want to go but just a little - go see the movie and a few tanks. :-)
