Please be sure to have your camera ready. Between the stained glass , the statues and the painting...this is such a beautiful cathedral.

“Beautiful. Go here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

This house of worship was beautiful and welcoming to visitors of any religious background. It doesn't take much time to stop by and check it out. So, swing in!

“Outside the church before a Saturday night service music was heard”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Between the cathedral and park the atmosphere lightened perceptibly when an old jazz blues singer and trumpeter with his guitar accompanist began to play and the beauty echoed off the buildings. It was a moment to cherish. A personal favorite of mine in New Orleans.

“Breath Taking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

It is in Jackson Square. You can go in there is no charge. They do ask you to be quite cause they still have church and people will be praying and lighting candles. Take a camera it is very beautiful. They have a gift shop. Check on the hours that is open. Plan to stay about a hour. I visit it every time in New Orleans. It is beautiful at night, so visit it at night. It is in a safe area.
