“Lots of info”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

I did the haunted house tour in the French quarter with a young lady with curly hair, afraid i can't remember her name. The tour provides plenty of history about lots of houses supposedly haunted and all the associated anecdotes.

I found the delivery way too dramatic at times and a little rehearsed, as though it was the same thing every single time. Her ability to recite everything was good but lacked a bit of personableness to it, so at times it did get a little boring but the stories themselves were pretty cool if you're interested in ghosts and hauntings. The main reason i was interested was to see the LaLaurie mansion, which was very, very creepy and well worth the visit.

“The tours are great.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

All the cemetary and haunted tours I've been are very interesting and informative. There are regular stops for eat and drinks at many historic places in the French Quarter. We visit often and enjoy it everytime.

“Great Tour!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I did this walking tour last night and it was great! The tour left on time and the guide was super informative and VERY animated. He was honest about what were authentic stories vs heresay and even included a few personal experiences. The tour is 2 hours long so wear comfy shoes. You get a break about halfway through to grab a drink and use the restroom if u need to. It's also a great tour to learn some history on the Quarter itself that you wouldn't normally read about. Highly recommend this tour!

“So much fun...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

There is so much history and culture here, it is the perfect environment for a good ghost story. I definitely recommend the Myrtles Plantation.

“Haunted History Tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

I went to New Orleans for a friend's bachelorette weekend, and we had to do a ghost tour. This one was recommended to us, and it was very good. Our guide was very dramatic and animated, which was entertaining, and I still remember some of the stories. This is not like a haunted house, where people jump out and you scream. It's a historical tour that points out different locations and the stories of what happened there, along with the alleged sightings that occur. They encourage you to take photos in case you might capture a spirit, but we didn't catch any... Note that it doesn't end where it began, but it's not hard to find your way back. Definitely wear comfortable shoes, since it is a 2-hour tour. They make one stop at the oldest bar in the city, but the toilets had a long line due to a clog, so be sure to go before you start the tour!
