The Arbor House is full of charm. The rooms are decorated with antiques and are cozy (without being too small). The innkeeper, Cathie and her staff, are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The breakfasts are tasty (especially the savory pancakes and strawberry strata!) and there is a daily happy hour around 5 pm. In addition, there is also a treat served later in the evening. We had chocolate covered strawberries and citrus tiramisu. Some of the other extra perks we enjoyed were the free use of bicycles and 1 hour of canoeing on Lake Wingra. We'll be sure to return the next time we are in Madison!
