Formerly Cleveland's Restaurant and open only for breakfast and lunch, the renamed Plaka Taverena offers the same good value breakfast. The potato pancakes are fresh made and the best, served with applesauce and sour cream. American and Greek entrees are offered for lunch and dinner. The Avgolemono soup is also made right there and tasty. The Plaka also serves cocktails. It is a small place and tables are hard to come by on Saturday mornings when the Farmer's Market is on the Capitol Square. If you stop for breakfast have my favorite combination to share: Greek Omelet, short stack of potato pancakes, and sausage. If you don't see more ratings on this restaurant is because we don't want the secret exposed.
