“Bleh”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

Recently ordered takeout from Rosati's. A lot of people rave about the ribs, but we were in the mood for pasta. We ordered a family order of Mostaccioli with meat sauce. It came with breadsticks and salad. The mostaccioli was awful. The sauce immediately reminded me of Chef Boyardee. The breadsticks were boring. Best part was the salad. Total bill was $30. A lot to pay for Chef Boyardee.

“You won't be disappointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

Have been there 4 times now and are never disappointed. Had the ribs last week and for only $16.49 you get a huge portion of ribs that were delicious. Their Cod dinner is moist and tasty. Sandwiches are great and their pizza is done just right. Prices are very reasonable and service is always good. You even get free popcorn to munch on before your food comes. It's a must stop.

“Mama Mia - Saucy Aroma!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012

The smell alone of the past & sauce are mouthwatering. We tried the generous helping of Mastaccioli they served (one baked w/ cheese on top & one regular) & it was delicious. Love, love, love their sauce. We also tried their salad and that was was crisp, fresh & refreshing served with your choice of dressing. Their french dressing is unique -at first wasn't sure we'd like it but the more we ate it, the better we liked it. Not as heavy or sweet as others. We did also try their pizza on another visit and would suggest sticking with the pasta items. The sauce is great, as well as the toppings. Crust - sorry to say needs work in our opinion. Though thin it was really bland, a little thick & tough. We love to eat pizza out so have tried a lot of different places. This isn't one we'd recommend. Actualy we wish we'd gone around the corner to Dahmens Pizza - they're so close by and their pizza & crust are FABULOUS!!! A true thin crust, that has an airy, crips-crackery texture that enhances the ingredients it's topped with. All in all - they still deserve 5 stars, as they quickly served us a bowl of popcorn & drinks while we waited. And their pasta is some of the best we've tasted. They even sell their sauce in HUGE cans to go. Oh & the breadsticks are delicious (as long as they're not overcooked). And the garlic bread is devine. Enjoy if you decide to try it - go for the pasta!

“Warm and friendly Italian spot on Mineral Point Road”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

We stopped in on a Friday night when our original destination had an hour and a half wait. Without a reservation we still only waited about 15 minutes. They offered to get us drinks and popcorn while we waited. Four of us easily fit in a large booth. The server was prompt and friendly, and happily explained the menu and specials. Three of us had the Friday Fish Fry, three pieces of fried cod with coleslaw and french fries for $6.49 and one had pasta with a red sauce. Those choosing the fish thought they had made a better choice. The music was 1940s vocals and was slightly too loud and became mildly irritating as the sound track began to repeat. But, all in all a good night out. We plan to return.

“This is NOT Chicago Style Pizza”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2011

Help! I just moved to Madison and am looking for Chicago Style Pizza (and please don't suggest Pizzaria Uno)!

It's a shame because the service was good and the toppings were fresh. Sauce was really good too. However, the "Chicago Style" was a 1/2" flavorless bread dough spread at the bottom of the pan.

I would probably rate this place better if I'd tried the thinner crusts. However, the "Chicago Style" just didn't work.

Anyone reading this who knows where to find Chicago pizza in the area, please send me a suggestion!
