My mom and I ate here about two weeks ago, and my mouth still waters at the thought of our meal. They have an interesting idea with "snacks" then "small plates" then "big plates" and of course dessert at the end. Our server (I think his name was Ben), who was excellent, recommended one from each of the 3 categories for 2 people, though we added one more for good measure because the dishes all looked so good.
My favorite was the Rabbit Rillete, a sort of rabbit pate with pistachio, which we placed on top of sourdough bread from down the street and which we topped with a honey and sour cherry topping (honey also super local, harvested along Willy St). Absolutely fantastic.
Other things we got were a fantastic pasta dish, scallops with pork belly and vanilla foam, beet and goat cheese salad, and panna cotta for dessert (wines were excellent as well). All in all Pig In A Fur Coat exceeded expectations and I'll be returning there next time I am looking for a delicious meal!
