Spacious, and inviting and friendly staff. Unfortunately the LOUD, JUMBLE of JARRING TECHNO music= pure discord & was a total turn-off. Felt catapulted into a disturbing, anger inducing, nightmarish zone that really detracted from what may have been a pleasant dining experience. A good mood could quickly turn, as it was ultra annoying. Heavy base literally vibrated the table. IF the music was at least good, with GOOD VIBRATIONS, that may make a difference. The menu had a wide variety to choose from. HUGE amuzing, drink selection. We tried the pulled pork, which was tender, juicy, deliciousness smothered over a bed of some of the best onion straws ever. The coleslaw was fresh, though different, a lot of onion in it - still good though. Cheese curds were awesome, however a better selectin of dipping sauces to choose from vs tired-old-ranch to accent them perfectly (like Nitty Gritty sauce, or something tangy) would enhance them even more. Still the curds themself were super fresh, perfect batter, tender inside & would recommend them. The mac n' cheese for us was O.K., nothing we would run back for. Opening the bottles of sauce they had, unable to help but notice they weren't wiped down or clean. Each and every bottle on our table had that "crusty, thick/dried on remnants ring" from previous use(s), hygienic concerns kind of grossed me out. If that doesn't bother you, go for it, none for me. That dry build up can result in contaminating freshly served food & attracts bacteria. Takes a few seconds to wipe down a bottle before placing them back on the table. Maybe the music DROVE STAFF OUT too before they had time to? Kind of makes you wonder about the kitchen, though it may be very clean, would think someone may have time to clean the bottles off. There were only 2 other diners in the place, and appeared plenty of time available. My husband loves the place, loves the food, myself - wouldn't go back. For the price, prefer to dine in a pleasant inviting atmosphere. Onward to new adventures in dining, would leave this one by the wayside mostly because of the music alone. Uncertain if that's the norm, or just the day we dined there.
