“Best Coffee in Madison”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013 via mobile

Bradbury's may be small, but it packs a punch. The macchiatos and cappuccinos are consistently excellent and the crepes delicious. When you stop in you'll see they have a limited menu, but that is the beauty of Bradbury's; what they do, they do very well. The vibe and size may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I highly recommend it if you are near the square and want an espress, or a seasonally inspired crepe.

“Best crepes and coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Good coffee. Nice options of either savory or sweet crepes. Service is a little slow - but quality is not fast food!

“Worth trying at least once”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

I ate there for the first time today, and had the Delicata Squash crepe (very good!), pumpkin crepe (not enough flavor), and Japanese Siphon coffee w/Kenyan coffee beans (I'm not a coffee drinker; it was o.k.). Total price for these items was $26. The Japanese Siphon coffee is a few dollars more than regular coffee. I will probably go at least once more to try other crepes, but if they are not as good as the Delicata Squash then I will stop going because of the price.

“Yummy crepes in a tight little cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

The crepes are yummy and fun plus the coffee is excellent.

The sweet crepes tend to be pretty sweet, so be ready. The savory crepes are especially good, filled with local veggies, cheeses, and meats. YUM.

Two things pull the place down to 4 stars: First, the place is small and uncomfortable. You will be packed in tightly with other folks sitting on stylish but hard seats or stools. Second, the crepes do come slowly but that is not the fault of the crack staff. The small facility can only go so fast...

Another negative point -- I have found the clientele here to be a bit snooty and unfriendly, in contrast to the nice staff. This may be because the coffee is very good and pricey, which attracts a wannabe hipster crowd. In typical fashion, these Madison wannabes take on what they believe is a Manhattan persona, i.e., aloof with made-up hair, make up, and an attitude. Oh well...
