“VERY GOOD FOOD, GREAT AMBIANCE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Was a lot better than what was expected. Loved the outdoor seating on the lake, and the bar inside was impressive. I had 1/2 dozen raw oysters on the half shell and the Mahi-mahi. My wife had a seafood platter with a little bit of everything. The scallops were very good. We really enjoyed the dining experience and topped it off with some chocolate mouse cake. Would highly recommend this place. Service was a little lacking from our waitress, but it did not take away from our dinning experience.

“Fun experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Boated over to this restaurant, and was immediately impressed by its uniqueness and atmosphere. My family all wanted burgers, which I had also. They were indeed huge, the meat slightly over done even for me, but lots of excellent fries. My husband had the fish. His trout was good, but he didn't like the taste of the shrimp. All in all, it was more fun than delicious, but worth the visit.

“Can't beat the location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. The decor is nautical tacky, but unlike the previous reviewer I think this is on purpose, i.e. tacky in a fun way. We had lunch on the deck, which is shaded, and has fans so was not too hot. We liked watching the boaters and fisherpeople come by, and several boats pulled up for lunch while we were there. The best of our meals was the grilled grouper sandwich with fries. Nothing fancy here, but it was a fun place for lunch and would also be great for evening cocktails.

“Overrated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

My wife and I had seen Fisherman's Wharf on previous trips to Hot Springs and thought we would try it for supper one night. First impressions weren't great as we entered. The décor is horrible. When we opened the menu we almost made a run for the door. Overpriced is putting it mildly!
Nearly everything on the menu is fried. We ordered shrimp po-boys. The sandwich rolls were filled with lettuce, so much you could barely close the sandwich. One slice of tomato and one slice of onion. We got a small pack of mayonnaise and a small pack of mustard each to put on some of the most tasteless popcorn shrimp I have ever eaten. Average is the best I can say about our meal.
Our waitress was polite, but slow. She seemed unenthusiastic and bored. Thankfully, the lighting was poor so we couldn't really see the ratty and food littered dining room carpet.
Overall, this restaurant is way overrated. We won't be back.

“Scenic View With Fantastic Seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

In town for pleasure with a friend we were told to go to Fisherman's Wharf for great seafood and scenic views. I had a dozen oysters on the half shell & a halibut. Both were incredible. A friend had a salmon which he loved. The beers were cold and in buckets, the service was great and it was scenic right there on the lake.
