Going to visit in-laws that live in a small condo, so we decided to stay in a hotel this time. I picked the embassy because I've stayed in them before, they have awesome breakfasts, and are usually very nice and have big rooms.
We called a couple hours prior to our arrival to let them know we would be a 'later than expected' check in, around midnite. it was no problem. Our room wasnt given away, yay!! We walked in, loved the atmosphere, checked in, went upstairs, found our room, it was very nice and big, as expected. a living area with a sofa sleeper and a separate tv for the kids. I really loved that part. The queen size beds, dont appear to be true queen size. they look full size actually. so me and my husband wound up sleeping in separate beds. After hearing all the hype on TV about the uncleanliness of hotels and their housekeepers, I decided to do my own 'test'.
I used one of the hotel glasses, (the ones with the paper lid over the top, right?) I dripped some of my sons milk inside the glass and left it sitting there all day and all night. the next morning, before checkout, i remembered I did that, went back to look if there were fresh 'clean' glasses replaced, and guess what i found???? The same glass, had been 'kind of' rinsed, but still had the dried milk product on the bottom, and a new fresh paper lid placed across the top. Other than that, the hotel was nice, but very expensive.
So what they say on TV about the dirty glasses in the hotel???
They're right.......... dont use them, dont drink out of them.
they're nasty!!
