Going to visit in-laws that live in a small condo, so we decided to stay in a hotel this time. I picked the embassy because I've stayed in them before, they have awesome breakfasts, and are usually very nice and have big rooms.
We called a couple hours prior to our arrival to let them know we would be a 'later than expected' check in, around midnite. it was no problem. Our room wasnt given away, yay!! We walked in, loved the atmosphere, checked in, went upstairs, found our room, it was very nice and big, as expected. a living area with a sofa sleeper and a separate tv for the kids. I really loved that part. The queen size beds, dont appear to be true queen size. they look full size actually. so me and my husband wound up sleeping in separate beds. After hearing all the hype on TV about the uncleanliness of hotels and their housekeepers, I decided to do my own 'test'.
I used one of the hotel glasses, (the ones with the paper lid over the top, right?) I dripped some of my sons milk inside the glass and left it sitting there all day and all night. the next morning, before checkout, i remembered I did that, went back to look if there were fresh 'clean' glasses replaced, and guess what i found???? The same glass, had been 'kind of' rinsed, but still had the dried milk product on the bottom, and a new fresh paper lid placed across the top. Other than that, the hotel was nice, but very expensive.

So what they say on TV about the dirty glasses in the hotel???
They're right.......... dont use them, dont drink out of them.
they're nasty!!

We planned a family reunion in Hot Springs (where we grew up) and selected the Embassy Suites as the lodging for family members coming in from across the states.

The rooms were great for families, roomy, comfortable and clean. The beds, linens and pillows were wonderful, made for a good nights sleep. The room we had was great for my wife and I and two teenagers, everyone got thier own bed and "space".

The Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed the comfortable chairs and sofas in the atrium for setting around and visiting with family.

Location was nice, we walked to several downtown dining and sightseeing locations from the hotel.

Overall great place to stay - one of our favorites.

This is the second time we have booked with this Embassy Suites within the last 6 months. It is great from the minute you arrive (quick and friendly) to the time you leave (no fuss & friendly). The floors sparkled and all areas that I viewed were very clean. I used the downstairs ladies room and it was immaculate. The atmosphere is very nice, the lobby is like an oasis and calming. We arrived in time for the evening drinks ($1.00 but free sodas unlimited) and snacks. I was little disappointed that the piano player was not on duty but still very enjoyable. The cook to order breakfast is very good and had nice variety. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. They offered to warm muffin in the back and offered to fill coffee at our table. It is very refreshing to see staff trained to make the customer feel important and to see to their needs. So often in our travels that is over looked. We did not take advantage of the pool or spa area this time. The gift shop although very small is open until 11:00 PM. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had requested a high level and that was accomodated (very quite). I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure, you won't be sorry you paid the extra dollars.

The embassy suites is fantastic if you are hoping for an exciting weekend at the races. Embassy Suites are always great because they are very spacious! The kitchenette is great and the separate living room is nice if you have more than 2 people staying in the room.
The shuttle service is free and will take you to and from the races which is great after an afternoon of beer and betting!
The perfect place to stay for a weekend get-away.

“Perfect for large family”

Embassy Suites Hot Springs

We went to HS for a convenient family getaway. Check-in was easy at the kiosk. The indoor pool, manager's reception, and breakfast was awesome. We thought about hooking up our laptop in our room, which was about $10 a day, but the business center had two working computers with FAST internet. We got our money's worth.
