“Pleasant staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

We (myself, husband, two teens) stayed here for one night while dropping our son off at a nearby camp. The staff members were very pleasant- we checked in to find housekeeping wasn't finished with our room, but that was no problem, we ran around for a bit and had an early dinner.

Upon arrival back to our room, there were multiple families "camping" outside of their rooms- cooking meat on little hibachi stoves, etc. The hotel is close to a water park, and is a very economical hotel, so I get it... it's cheaper to just cook for a large family, etc. But the following morning there were chicken wings and paper plates, etc all of the outdoor staircase and sidewalks. Not necessarily a ding against the hotel- but more the type of people who stay there since it is so affordable.

The room was very spacious- vaulted ceilings, dated, but clean. There was a balcony overlooking a grassy area and the pool off to the side. It is nice having a private outdoor space.

That night, the pool was too crowded for my kids to want to go- but it looked okay. The crowd there was pretty rowdy, but we only saw and heard this from the balcony, so that was fine.

The next morning we woke up to go see about breakfast. The choices seemed very slim, and it was very crowded- the kids and I opted to drive a little ways to McDonald's instead (and we really aren't that picky). They could do a bit better on the breakfast.
In their breakfast area they had a pool or ping-pong table, so that would have been fun for the kids if we had seen it previously. There are not any attractions nearby besides the water park. So you won't be able to walk anywhere to see the sites of Hot Springs.

Overall- you get what you pay for. We chose to stay here because it was economical while taking a teen to an expensive camp- lol! BUT we ultimately opted to stay elsewhere when we picked him up because of the other guests.

Room Tip: The 2nd floor on the back wing of the hotel is quiet and spacious while you are in your room.

Very clean hotel. It is older but well kept. This is our second stay and we will return. It is out of the busy city in a quiet location. It has jaquzzi rooms available and it was very quiet. There is a swimming pool on the upper level. There is two sections of the hotel. Very friendly staff. High speed internet (wifi). I recommend staying here if you like a good value hotel out of the hustle and bustle of town yet close enough to enjoy all Hot Springs has to offer.

Room Tip: We had a heart shaped jaquzzi in it and it was wonderful.

My family recently spent two nights at Knights Inn in Hot Springs. It was right next door to Magic Springs. The rooms were clean and spacious that the kids could run around and they even have balconies and patios that look towards the pool, which was great. The breakfast was good with eggs, biscuits and gravy, and cereals for the kids. If I return to Hot Springs, I won't even bother looking anywhere else.

We also loved Stubby's BBQ in town on Central.

The AC was set on 60 and we were sweating! tub had rust on it, chair arms were broke, ceiling was falling and the smoke alarm had no batteries the bed was hard as a rock. The carpet seem to have been covering something on the floor.Ice Machine out of order. The pictures on internet are very misleading and the price for the room was not worth it $113.00 per night. I will never stay there again!!!

Room Tip: Stay any where but here!!

O My God, where to start or for that matter where to end the "KNIGHT MARE OF MAGIC SPRINGS?" Well, just check out before you check in. Yes, we found it- the Roach Motel, "they checked in but don't check out," thanks to the Kahn family management team, led by their son. Some people are not meant to be in the hospitality business. Maybe the Magic Springs Park could buy the hotel and bring it up to good standards, thereby completing a wonderful experience for its future guests. As for the Kahn family, on behalf of future travelers, Please, SELL!!!!!!!PLEASE ... get out of the Hotel Business,,,,,SELL!!!!!!!!!!!

Writing this review has been the ONLY satisfying part of my stay at the "HOTEL." KNIGHTS INN.

1st-after making reservation on line. I arrive to find out the reservation was cancel, because they could not reach me to charge my debit card for the stay. Check in is at 2pm. I got there at 1:30 pm. If I didn't cancel on Thurs, by 4 pm:. so, won't that tell them we are still coming!!! 2nd-very skimpy on soap and towel supply unacceptable. Wait 30 minutes for room to be clean. The breakfast was very skimpy on the choices. 3rd-we found little brown bugs under the covers. That spell-bed bugs. The stay here was not good at all. Oh yes, WiFi service very weak.

Room Tip: Tv works great
