“Electrical shock in the Bathroom...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We came here for our long weekend holiday with family n friends n booked 2 rooms.... But yday night after we all came from swimming there was electrical shock in both the bathroom with my kids inside the bathtub... When called the manager he didn't agree to the fact this could happen n we finally made our mind to call 911 n told the manager thats when he agreed to come n when he came he confirmed us the same.... We felt the shock on day 1 too but somehow we thought it was static but day 2 was horrible...

We couldn't use the restroom or anything n there were no empty rooms available till the next day being long weekend.... N finally when we checked out today (without taking bath) he charged us half rate for the previous night (full rate for 2 days) We felt bad that after so much of confusion n inconvenience caused to us we didnt have to pay him for that night.... After all this I strongly don't recommend this hotel cos it will be a matter of life n death......

Room Tip: good view but horrible place to stay

Guest did not report a problem until 9 pm on the third and last night of their stay. I arrived at their room within 10 minutes to inspect. I was unable to feel any current or shock at any of the faucets in the room. I then used a "pen style" current detector( Electrician later proved the detector defective ) on the faucets and it showed positive for current. Even though I couldn't feel any current, I allowed them to use the Office restroom until the Electrician arrived at 8am the following morning. The certified Electrician with one of the oldest Electrical Contractors in town was unable to find any shock or current hazzard whatsoever, and gave us a written statement of same. This hotel is one of our favorite places to stay in Hot Springs! All of the rooms are equipped with a kitchen, and all rooms have a balcony/porch area with a lakefront view. It has always been spotlessly clean, quiet, and very relaxing as it sets back off from the main road. The rooms are very large, with couches and a dining table, so there is plenty of room for additional people. This is definitely our "go to" spot when we are in Hot Springs.

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The location is perfect, just outside of Hot Springs on the lake. It is about 0.25 miles off the road and you can see the bridge from the hotel but cannot hear any of the road noise. The rooms have been updated and were very nice, especially for the price. It has a small kitchenette, which we did not use but next time we stay again we will plan to take breakfast. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens and the heater (on an extremely cold weekend) worked like a top! Check-in and out was super easy. Other guests were loud and we could hear them for a bit but they went inside at a decent hour. Great view of the lake, we will be back!

We live down the street from this motel/resort, and our adult just daughter stayed there over the holidays. The rooms were clean and well furnished with a flat screen television and a well designed kitchenette. The lake view and lake facilities are excellent for the summer visitor. The location is very close to the best local dining and shopping in town. The room rates were very, very reasonable. While this facility does not pretend to be a "five star resort" it has earned four stars for the reasons i have set forth. In summary, we can highly recommend this resort!

You can't beat this place. My wife and I have stayed here on each of our four visits to Hot Springs over the past few years. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and clean....and the value is unbeatable. We had our 10 month old baby with us this time and he slept, well, like a baby in this quiet location. We will be back again soon!

From the moment we stepped into our room to the moment we left, we were amazed at the absolute quality of this place! The room rate was super affordable and we didn't just have a room, we had a kitchenette and a fabulous view. My only complaint(which is hardly a complaint) is that the pool was not at our hotel (but it was very close) and it was not heated (so we could not go swimming because it was way too cold). The room was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. This place made our visit feel like a vacation!
