Very nice room, but the carpet felt like soaked w moisture and smells as if someone left worn hiking boots somewhere. Well, our noses got used to it soon. Good breakfast in a lake view dining room.

We've stayed in Hot Springs for years and decided to try something new this year. Over the years we've stayed downtown in the old historic hotels, which we love, and we've stayed outside of the downtown. The Baymont Inn is essentially at the end of town on Central, if you go any farther, you are definitely out of town. But you are 5 minutes from the mall and probably 15-20 minutes from downtown if you take Higdon Ferry Road instead of Central (avoid it if you can). The Baymont has reasonable deals on rooms that are clean, modern, and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, the AC works well and is not too intrusive, and the lake-side rooms have wonderful views of the lake. Our room was large, with an easy chair, a couch, refrigerator, and microwave. Most lake-side rooms have balconies, which we did not have. But we enjoyed the patio area and the lake-side deck area every evening. The breakfast was quite good for an included breakfast, although bananas would be a great addition. Although our room was right next to the elevator on the fourth floor, we heard nothing. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and appears safe. We'll probably stay there again, next time might spring for a balcony. Their coffee is not great, but there's a Starbucks about 6 minutes up Central, on the left.

Room Tip: Rooms on the lake side are worth the added price, and they don't receive the afternoon sun. Ther...

Stayed for a wedding night - our room was on the back on the hotel so we had a balcony, which offered a nice view of the lake - there are condos on both sides but was very quiet & peaceful - breakfast items were provided - would stay sgain if back in the area.

My two friends and I stayed here for our trip to Amity for the Warrior Dash this spring. The hotel has a fantastic lake view, the hotel staff was incredibly kind, and we had a great stay. Need a ridiculous number of towels for three people? Done. Breakfast was great, and eating our food by the lake was a great end to our Arkansas adventure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay at a good price. Very satisfied with this hotel, and I will happily recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations in Hot Springs!

Stayed here for 4 nights with my girlfriend. Nice friendly staff. Great view of the lake but spend the extra and get a lakeview room it is worth it. Clean room nintendo 64 in the room if u have children. Big flat screen tv with plenty of channels. Do realize though that its about 7-8 miles from downtown so if u plan on going downtown alot its a good little drive. The balconys were clean and had nice chairs. One of the best places I have stayed in hot springs and I have stayed in most of their hotels over the years.

Room Tip: Always get a lakeview room if u can!!!

We recently spent two nights at the Baymont Inn in Hot Springs on a mini vacation (husband and myself) and we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had a lake view room with balcony, not a bad room overall. The hotel has some nice views of the lake and a nice deck built round the cove. The breakfast was an added bonus, it was nice and the staff was extremely friendly. We paid $107 a night for our non-smoking king room, all in all it was a good place for us to spend the night as well as start each morning with a hearty breakfast.

I stayed two nights at the Baymont on the Lake just outside of downtown Hot Springs. The hotel was clean all the way through. The pool is clean, but a bit chilly. They serve breakfast, which was made up of pre-made eggs, breaded foods and cereals. (My wish is that more hotels like this would start serving more sugar-free, low carb food).
My biggest complaint was that the bed was not comfortable. My friend had no trouble sleeping, but I never could get comfortable.
The location is beautiful. There is no arguing that. The price is quite reasonable considering what some other hotels offer for the same price.
The front desk staff were very helpful as were all the staff that we encountered.
Overall, a clean, pretty place to stay for a reasonable price!

Room Tip: If you want a room overlooking the pool, ask for one when you make reservations.
