This professionally produced outdoor drama was written by seven-time Pulitzer Prize nominee and Emmy recipient, Allan W. Eckert, nationally known for his buckskin bestsellers...The Winning of America Series. The script has been acclaimed as the best of its kind within the outdoor drama industry and continues to fascinate thousands each summer as the story unfolds in the 1,800 seat Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre near Chillicothe, Ohio. Since the premiere performance of "Tecumseh!" in 1973, over 2.5 million visitors have witnessed this great outdoor play, making it the most popular of its kind in the State of Ohio and entire Mid-Western United States. “Must See!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Do yourself and your kids a favor by attending this show. A historical account that involves real life actors on horses in fight scenes. Very small children may not be the best idea, but 5-12 year old children will talk about it for weeks afterwards.

“A fun night out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

When we attended Tecumseh we also enjoyed the pre-show buffet. The dinner, the play and the meet and greet with the actors afterward made for a fun and enjoyable night out.
The drama educated us somewhat about the life of Tecumseh. The choreographed fight scenes were exciting, the actors on horseback, the pyrotechnics and the acting in general were all first rate! I recommend visiting this play in the Sugarloaf amphitheatre to anyone who may enjoy live drama!

“Excellent Show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

I love outdoor theatres and this one is one of the best. Do not take babies though because there are loud sounds from cannons, etc. One thing that is very worth noting is that they allow you to bring your own drinks (non alcoholic) and snacks.

“loved the show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

we called late and had seats in the very front row, at first I thought that would be really bad, but I don't think there is a bad seat to be had there. The show was great!
