We had the pleasure of spending 2 weeks at Haven over the Christmas/New Year holiday season and enjoyed every minute of it. I would just be repeating all the previous great comments about the staff, accomodations, and food so I will digress a bit. Two or three nights are probably not enough time to appreciate the cooking and service of Sau, Mi, Dien and Kiki and you really want to spend some time watching the villagers go about their daily routines and definitly have a lunch with the locals at the well. There was ample oportunity to have supper at a different location but we chose to eat at the group table every night for the food and the chance to talk to fellow travelers. Last but not least the world needs more people like Rosie and Huw. Weather its trying to convince the villagers to use the garbage cans he bought or taking in a sick/injured owl and nursing it back to health or trying to find an inexpensve solution to a young mans missing limb they are a couple who are truly giving back to the community. Thanks for letting us be part of your family for the holidays.
