“Pleasant suprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

After reading some bad reviews I wasn't 100% convinced. However I was pleasantly surprised by the great service, fantastic selection of tea/coffee and juices and a refreshing western menu. We had nachos, fish and chips and a full English fry up, all exceeded our expectations considering the cheap price. Quy Nhon's little treasure in my eyes.

Nice fish and chips and good service. Other prices for food were very expensive. Seems like a nice place with helpful staff......

“Not worth the effort”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Menu showed pizza "bread" starting at $2.50. Ordered pizza off menu board marked "Special" where the price wasn't written. After waiting over half an hour I was served the most bizarre and average pizza I have ever had, but the worst was yet to come ...

The price was $12.50!!!

A rubbish pizza for one person at this price is ridiculous. I told them I had a brilliant two course meal in the upmarket Cargo restaurant in Hoi An for $15 (best meal in Vietnam) and they said that is Hoi An! I stood my ground and refused to pay the money and walked away paying a very pricy $7.50 -- all parties were left angry!

“Good for a break of Vietnamese food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

I have been living in VIetnam for 6 months and the last 4 in Quy Nhon. I have to say I really love Vietnamese food and Quy Nhon is a great opportunity to enjoy a wide selection of local dishes as well as delicious fresh seafood, everything at ridiculously cheap prices in this (yet) unspoiled coastal city.

But there are this moments when you would like to enjoy a bit of western food just for a change, and this is a hard thing to find in Quy Nhon believe me, almost impossible I would say (which is part of its appeal to be honest). So last night we decided to pay a visit and we were not disappointed. We had some pasta bolognese and pasta with pesto and it was certainly very good. They also do english breakfast and the menu has some local food too. Seafood noodles, spring rolls etc...and they also have the meals of the day. Prices are Ok, might be a bit pricey compared to Quy Nhon standards but nothing to go mad about.
Dont expect anything luxury as its a modest place. Barbara might not be there anymore but she indeed knew how to teach the new landlady the way to please western people.

Like I said if you are staying a short time in Quy Nhon why not to enjoy so many other great restaurants that this city has to offer (beach strip for example). If you need a break of Vietnamese food, Kiwi Cafe is your place.

Oh! And last but not least they have Quy Nhon bottled beer which funnily enough is pretty hard to find here.
