My group of 5 stayed 3 days/2 nights at March 3 B&B on 20 & 21 Dec 2011. We booked the 1A room meant for 4 - 6 pax online. The B&B is located about 15 mins taxi drive from the Luodong train station. When we first arrived at the B&B, we were greeted by a nicely decorated high ceiling lobby area which according to the owner Mr Huang, was inspired by a Spanish church he visited.
The 1A room was very spacious and comfortable with a separate living area and a huge bathroom room (with a free standing bathtub & a shower cubicle). The only compliant we had about the bathroom was that it cannot be locked (no locks were provided).
The 1A room came with breakfast. The 1st day, we were served Taiwan porridge & about 9 side dishes. The 2nd day, Mr Huang offered us a change of menu - we had local dumplings, soya bean drinks and honeydew. Mr Huang also offered us sponge cakes after we returned to the B&B after touring Yilan on the 1st day.
March 3 is situated very near to the Luodong sports park. On the 21st Dec '11, we were very lucky to be able to cycle to the sports park using the bicycles provided by the B&B (1st in the morning & then at night!... Mr Huang also provided us with torch lights and warning lights for the night ride). That was the only day which did not rain during our Taiwan trip from 14 - 24 Dec '11.
We has a very pleasant and comfortable stay at March 3. Though the room rate was a bit high, we think it was worth the experience.
