Our room was on the last floor and the view to the tea plants was amazing.
The room itself is not just good I can even say a bit luxury. Most of all I liked big windows from floor to the ceiling and very good blanket and bed that provided a good sleep.

We stayed here 2 nights and it is a very good hotel, and with some improvements it can easily be made excellent.
The rooms are big and very cosy, with a heater (which is great when you are used to the 30°C in the rest of Sri Lanka).
Also the food (we had dinner twice) is very tastefull and the staff is very friendly.
And the view from out of the room is great.
Some things should/could be improved though to make it excellent instead of very good. There were problems with the hot water for the shower, which were solved after some time, but for a hotel in this price class this should not happen. The breakfast packet (we left early for a trip) should be a bit less basic. Pick-up from the train station was quite expensive, some cheaper hotels do this for free. The room for the staff, alongside the reception, can be shielded in a much more professional way (instead of with blankets).

This is simply the best hotel in Nuwara Eliya. We've been to about 10 hotels, all were old and smelly and highly over priced. This on is a bit far from the center but the rooms are new, modern, spacious and clean.

This hotel is new and decent, but has the potential to be a lot better. The overall design of the room and the style is very good, but on closer inspection the build quality was poor. Very poor. Gaps in the windows, lights not fitting in their sockets, shoddy paintwork etc. This sort of thing wouldnt normally bother me, but we paid a lot for our stay (£70/night) which is a lot for Asia, despite Sri Lanka being a very expensive country (and Nuwara Eliya an expensive town within it). There was a problem with the hot water when we arrived, which was fixed, but the bathroom stayed damp for the whole 2 days we were there - there was no ventilation that didnt involve opening the window, and it was very cold outside.

The room itself was cosy, and had stunning views over the tea plantations. There was a safe, tv and a good heater. The bed was very good quality. What ruined it was the stupid glazed bathroom wall, which only had a thin net on the outside. Unless you know how to use lights to create one-way glass you had better know your partner well! It is located around a mile out of town, the walk is relatively flat and has great views.

The staff were very friendly and good to us. There was however a very distinct air of inexperience, unsurprising perhaps in a new hotel, but information was generally wrong, even about basic things like ordering train tickets and rickshaw costs, and the service in the restaurant was incredibly erratic. On the first night we ordered dinner in advance at 7 (common in Sri Lanka), were called to the restaurant at 7, then proceeded to sit in the cold for an hour whilst no less than 5 staff were visible in the kitchen trying to prepare it (it was delicious when it arrived though).

Overall, I dont want to give this place a negative review, as we had a good time and the staff are lovely, but for the prices they charge for the rooms I think they really need to do better, both in terms of the quality of the building and the efficiency of the service.

Stayed here on our honeymoon tour of SL. Very comfortable hotel, big rooms, bid beds, very clean, nice bathrooms, helpful staff. Hotel meals were delicious. A bit out of town but that meant it was quiet. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and lovely. We had a very good view from our room. Spacious living room for the kids to run around. Room service needs to improve. Took quite a time for our requests to be sent up to our room.
