“Good rooms, poor service.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

First off, the good things. The location is great as it is between Ayala and SM. Although there were not too many things to go around the hotel.

The rooms were clean as they were new. I loved the minimalist look to it. The beds and sheets were very comfortable.

The food on their resto on the ground floor was good.

They could've made the pool area upstairs prettier.

Bad points:
I believe that most of the people attending to the guest's needs are under training. They were shy most of the time.

We got 2 rooms. Our first room was okay, although they did try to fix the broken water heater, it didn't work hours later and we didn't bother asking for a repair again. Then our second room. There was no tv signal in the second room. Some of the power outlets didn't work. During our reservation, I requested for both rooms to have twin beds. The second room had a single queen sized beds. So I called the front desk about this so we can move to a different room, but they denied our request and claimed that there were no other available rooms. (There was barely anyone checked in at the hotel) But after reporting our problems on our second room, they quickly transferred our second room to a room just next to it, with twin beds!!

Another minor problem is, they didn't replace the shampoo, soap etc the next day.

There were too many flies in the resto.

There were oily stuff floating on the electric kettle we requested.

Their parking area across the road was literally a dump site.

The bathroom frosted door had dry white water stains on it. The toilet bowl had brown stains on it.

I hope the management resolve this problem. They need more people to attend to guests and the staff / trainees need more training! Sucks that the front desk had to lie to us for their convenience. Also, the housekeeping should check if everything in the rooms are functioning before having them checked in.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012

We’ve enjoyed our stay at this chic hotel located between the border of Cebu City & Mandaue City. It’s brand new and the price we paid was relatively cheap. We stayed in a Superior room with one queen bed. The room size is good with a big LCD tv & a walk in closet with a safety deposit box. The bathroom is relatively small but it's clean and complete with all vanity kit you need. The bed is to die for because it’s very comfortable like you're staying in a 5 star hotel. What I like about this is how quick they respond for any request that you make. Hotel personnels here are very courteous & well-trained. Its security is top notch as only guests with a hotel card can get on the hotel elevator. They have a basic gym at the 16 floor and a pool at the 17th floor. Wi-fi signal in all floors are good. Breakfast in the morning is nice with a choice of Filipino or American. Taxi is plenty on this route and big malls are located nearby. I highly recommend this place to our friends who wants to spend some time away from home.
