There is absolutely nothing ordinary in this little joint that serves bar-b-q. It is a converted garage with all kinds of shiny objects to tantalize your eyes and that it is even before you get a peek at the menu.
The staff is down to earth and appears to have actually have eaten the food. Therefore are able to get their suggestions when ordering. The food matches the decor, fresh, interesting and not your everyday dining experience.
I don't care how many bbq joints you have visited in Kansas City, Independence or around the world this is one Little BBQ Joint you do not want to miss.
This was my second trip and this is how scrumptious the food is. The chicken sandwich was delightfully moist and was everything you could hope for. We were one of the first seatings that day so imagine my surprise when the fries were cold. However they were so tasty I went ahead and enjoyed them anyway.
So I am hoping this was an oversight and not a preview of things to come as everyone is human and therefore mistakes can happen. Would I go back? In a heart beat.
I hope the Little BBQ Joint continues to stick to my ribs and around in Independence for a very long time!
