Great facilities. Clean, relaxing and very beautiful. Despite building / renovating at the hotel, you cannot notice it happening and very rarely hear anything.
The daily breakfast is second to none, no expense spared for guests.
STAFF: Bakela has the BEST service I have ever experienced. NOTHING is to hard for their staff. They are genuinely friendly and interested in ensuring you have a good holiday.
SUMMARY: Don't waste your time going anywhere else, Bakela IS the place to stay. Bakela Resort Hotel & Spa made our Bali holiday. We are coming back here......DEFINATELY!

Room Tip: We had both a Family unit for our 4 children, while we stayed in a double room. You need only bring...

Hi to Tony, Scooby and staff. A big thank you once again for an amazing holiday. Started off in the family room 160 and 161. Needed to move on the second night due to a massive storm which caused a leak. Was given options of rooms to move to and chose interconnecting 254 and 255. Rooms were a great size and very clean with balconies overlooking the pool. Breakfast was satisfying and lunch by the pool was good. The iced coffee was amazing. Hopefully we will see you all again next year.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor from room 248 to 260 are close enough to the pool but far enough away from...

Just spent 6 nights at this central Legian hotel. Good value for money for family of 4 in 2 bedroom unit. Avoid room 157 above restaurant, it is open 24 hrs day so a little noisy from late night drinkers as well as the road. Staff very friendly & moved us without any problem. Enjoyed an older 2 bedroom unit with private outdoor bathroom in much quieter location. Location is a good spot for walking to local restaurants and shops. Breakfast was included which was adequate. Restaurant offered reasonable priced meals but you could find better quality at local restaurants for a similar priced. Would stay again if on a budget. Some construction going on at the moment so there is daytime noise however the whole area is noisy anyway for about 20 hours day.

Room Tip: Avoid room 157 due to noise from restaurant & bar directly below. Shame because the room was ne...

Looks a bit tardi
View from the pool to the restaurant LOOK nice, rooms LOOK nice but don't deliver
For the same price or just a little bit more, a lot better can be had
Moved once because of construction noise... (To be expected anywhere in Bali.) Staff were good about it but we only managed to move a few doors down... luckerly a religious festival for 3 days ..maybe they have stopped for that

Superior room
-Bed firm but comfortable - King
Nice large room with a sofa in an annte room
Large bath and large shower
Don't think of using either .... no hot (or even warm) water most of the time (just a trickle).... 2nd attempt now to rectify .... lets see what happens

Restaurant
Staff very friendly
Haven't eaten a meal here
Breakfast. - waste of money... poor quality and not much variety - stuck to just omelette
Riasata in South Kuta / Tuban a far better choice. (Last trip)
...... more to come ? ?

We recently stayed at the Baleka and on the first night had a standard room.Quite small and up the stairs but still had a balcony overlooking the pool.Somewhat tired and in need of repairs but clean and suited our one night stay.On return we had the Deluxe room on the ground floor that opened onto the pool area. This was a huge room and a newish bathroom.Tea and coffee facilities, toiletries and a big screen TV.Free wifi but it didn't work inside the room but did in the pool, area.Free breakfast which was small but everything we needed with eggs, pastries, noodles etc.More than sufficient. The pool area was good and there were always sun lounges available at all times during the day.The hotel is situated at the further end of Legian near the Jayakarta and the lovely beach side resorts and restaurants.
The staff were great and the service was good.Bar inside the restaurant at the front for cold beers and ice.We didn't eat there and rarely did we see anyone in the restaurant.Would recommend the deluxe room which was around $90 a night through Agoda.I would stay again

Room Tip: Book the deluxe rooms on the pool.Very nice

We stayed in this hotel in Oct 2014, its a lovely little hotel and all the staff and guest we amazing and helpful!! The rooms and the grounds are very well kept. The hotel was undergoing renovations while we were staying there and the noise was very minimum and did not affect our stay.

Great hotel to stay at. The only gripe I have is the food in the restaurant. The breakfast is the same thing every day, not much variety, and the food in the Gula Gula restaurant is really below average. We only ate there twice, and both times it was very poor. If they improved the food, there would be no room for complaint.

Room Tip: The best rooms are numbered 124 to 132. They are close to the pool and the restaurant, on the ground...
