“Great location, clean hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

I stayed at the Lohka from March 14th to March 19th with my best friend. We originally booked a deluxe room but when we arrived the staff said the deluxe room wasn't available so we were upgraded to a family suite. The family suite was extremely spacious and more than enough for the 2 of us. Our room faced the street andf it was really noisy so requesting a room at the back of the hotel would be worth it. The hotel was really clean but had the normal wear and tear that most 4 star hotels in Bali have. The breakfast was great and like everyone says the banana pancakes were to die for. My friend and I are both in our 20s and the hotel was good for us because we spent minimal time there however we found it to be very family/couple orientated so I wouldn't recommend the hotel to young people who plan on having somewhere to party and socialise.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back of the hotel where it is quieter and it is worth paying a small amount of...

The Lokha is a good family hotel not too big. Not a great variety for breakfast but adequate they would always accommodate requests for extras. Downside no Wifi in rooms or DVD player. Would stay there again but request ground floor not third.

Back for our fourth stay at the Lokha and still really happy with the hotel . As normal a very quick check in with no fuss .Our room 204 was in a great spot with comfy bed clean linen and was serviced daily . The pool is just great and the service poolside from the pool bar is the best . Love the pizza and my favourite coffee latte ! Breakfast was great love the selection and also like the egg and pancakes made fresh to order!
The location of this hotel is just the best and the shopping and restaurants around are great plus the beach is a 2 min walk to the end of the street!
The hotel also now has a lift so no more stairs if you don't feel like it .
Had a great week and will be back
Thanks heaps to The Lokha Legian for making our Bali holidays so enjoyable !!

The hotel is small compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Bali however I recommend this hotel for couples that want to be close to shops, beach. There is only one pool and I wouldn't recommend children as its a very quiet hotel. I would stay again if the price was less as it was too expensive for the location, I would pay this price if staying at the beach front in legion. Overall, clean and staff are very friendly.

Room Tip: Rooms on the third level away from the street very quiet - no street noise.

My wife and i have been regulars at the Lokha for 8 years or so and it is always a pleasurable experience.Clean, comfortable rooms with good facilities, excellent staff (nothing is too much trouble),any problems are fixed immediately, and most of all the atmosphere is idyllic. As for Bogans well they are enjoying their holiday in their own way so don't let it detract from yours.we all get along to get along. P.S. see ya all again soon.

Room Tip: For us older people I advise the ground floor as their is no lift to other floors

We stayed at the Lokha for 2 nights in a super deluxe room. I was a little wary of this hotel because of recent reports of " bogan " behaviour around the pool................. but occupancy was low and the hotel was quiet.

We were impressed with the super deluxe room & consider it well worth the extra few dollars. Staff were great and provided good service, breakfast ( try the banana pancakes ! ) was good and the location is perfect .

We would stay here again during quiet season :)

Room Tip: Try and book a super deluxe room.
