Haven't stayed there(yet), but went for a peek to see what they had to offer. The staff were amazingly helpful, and showed us around. Ground floor rooms have a plunge pool and the rooms are very spacious with a very high standard finish.Second floor are slightly larger with a spa, some are two bedroom(for families) and finished to same high standard. The ultimate in luxury is left for last on the top floor and has the same facilities as all the other rooms with the addition of a separate lounge area, larger balcony/dining area should you wish a private dinner for two and Mozzarella restaurant can supply the food from their in house kitchens. People will be talking about this place. The down side is smaller hotels will suffer unless they can match the facilities Magani has to offer.More info on this place after we stay there at the end of this year.

Room Tip: lifts operate to all floors so no climbing stairs(for us oldies).

We recently stayed at this hotel and were really happy with our choice. Very close to the beach and lots of shopping around the classy looking hotel. Just far enough from the happening Kuta night clubs. Hotel was very clean with very very friendly staff. We stayed in the deluxe room and were amazed at the size of the room. Hope they maintain this hotel well and keep it in this state for years to come as i intend to make this a hotel of my choice everytime i want to stay in Legian area.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at! To describe it in a nut shell this hotel was extremely clean, the service was amazing and reception staff very helpful, the food and drinks were all reasonably priced and the location is great! We stayed in the Magani suite. The room felt like a villa! It was very spacious and the bed was comfy also. Highlight of my stay at the Magani was the service and the friendly staff working there. Some of them remembered my name and they always greeted us when we walked in and out of the hotel. The security guard helped us cross the road and if we requested a blue bird taxi he would get us one within a minute. They opened and closed the doors for us and before closing it they always asked us to double check we didn't leave anything behind. The main pool was clean and the bar staff where fun to talk to and always remembered us. They let me play some of my music from my iphone on their speakers which was fun. They also bought us a towel every time we went down there. Around 6 o'clock each night house keeping knocked on our door and asked if they could spray some mosquito spray around the room, I thought that was very considerate of the hotel to do that. One morning we missed breakfast (as we slept in) so we went to the restaurant and asked for the breakfast menu. As we where looking at the menu they asked us if we where staying at the hotel and we explained to them how we are but we missed breakfast, so they told us they would serve it free of charge! We weren't expecting that! Every time we needed a restaurant booked the reception always booked it and sent us a confirmation letter to our room. Nothing was ever too much trouble for anybody! The maintenance of the hotel was exceptional. Each day we saw maintenance people working on the hotel to keep it looking clean, such as polishing the lobby floors, painting around the balcony to keep it looking white, cleaning the steps by hand near the day beds, spray and wiping down in between the balcony fence and so on. All I can say is that you will not be disappointed staying at The Magani and I will defiantly be returning!
Thank you to everyone
Janelle and Nathan

We stayed here in January for two nights in a upgraded room with a pool. There were so many things we weren't happy with, we were glad that we only booked for two nights. The room we stayed in had a lot of patched up paint on the walls, the quality of the room was poor. You can see wires running under a wooden shelf as well a modem when you lay on the bed. The tiling in shower base allowed water from showering to flow around the toilet area. This also occurred in the beauty salon. The dip pool in our room was unappealing and we didn't use it. The cocktail I ordered had ants in it, staff had poor English, very difficult to understand and were constantly greeting us and smiling every time we went past the desk seemed like every hour it became annoying as it was excessive. I think if we had just paid for a cheap basic room we would have probably been happy, but because we paid double that we expected it to be nicer, but it wasn't!

Stayed at The Magani Hotel for 2 nights in February, booked a deluxe room and got a very nice surprise upgrade after we had checked in, to the 5th floor suite, it was fantastic, we loved it, so spacious and with our own jacuzzi on the balcony.
The Mozzarella restaurant is a must visit, reasonably priced, the food is amazing and the cocktails 2 for 1 are great especially if you get served by Suad and Ani, it was a pleasure to have met them.
The hotel itself is very clean and neat and tidy, and all the staff are so professional and always making sure that you have everything you need, the guys out in the driveway directing traffic, even stopped the traffic so I could cross the road, can't ask for much more service then that.
Across the road is the Legian markets and if you walk to the left of the hotel there's plenty of spa's and shops, keep walking abit further and you'll get to Kuta Beach and the new Beach Walk shopping complex which is amazing.
Everywhere you go in the hotel, the service is 10/10. We were very impressed by the high standard of this hotel, will definitely return
Enjoyed our stay very much, Thank you to all at the Magani.
