“Loved the hotel and the staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

The hotel staff were amazing accommodated to all our queries.

The hotel is located in a prime location if you love eating out there are lots of massage places nearby at very reasonable pricing too.
The beach is located about 10 minutes walk where it is popular for water sports.

The breakfast accommodates all cuisines from East to Western varieties.

Actually this is a good hotel, the money U've spent worth with the quality of room and helpfull staff. But for a local (specially woman) who stay here with foreigner and have to wait car outside, got some "naughty" question from security staffs, really ? It is so annoying!!
Well your hotel not a survey office, right ? And what the guests do with their foreign or not foreign partner, it is the guest privacy, right ?

Friendly helpful polite staff. The best thing is location - easy walk to Kuta but far enough to avoid noise and all taxi drivers knew it and it has a large sign out the front so it's easy too find, which is fantastic, trust me!

Stayed in a classic room - so cheap that my friend and I indulged and got a room each. Chose Classic rooms for only $aud 61 a night. These are the very basic rooms and they were fine. Now there's a lovely view of the building next door which I could touch, but I wanted a room for sleeping, so who cares?! I didn't. Only thing was that due to the corridor having a polished concrete floor, sounds echos a little, so you can hear other room doors, but you don't actually hear anything thru the walls.

Modern but relaxed Bali architecture look. Rooftop pool is more for wading, but that's great for kids. Little swim up bar too.

If you need more toilet paper or request a face washer, it's at your room ASAP. Pick a more expensive room if you want a balcony.

Lovely hotel providing a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable rooms with minimalist white washed walls that are tastefully decorated with Balinese wood fixings and furnishings.
The food is good and the staff are so helpful that they trip over themselves to do so.
You can choose between going to the beach which is only 5 minutes away or sunbathe at Vertical Point pool/bar on the hotel roof which also proved to be an excellent chill out spot in the evening mellow shifting lights and ambient music.
Though my room wasn't huge it was ample for a single person or a couple and the double bed is massive.
Will stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that looks over the central pool.

We stayed at the Akmani for the last week of June and absolutely LOVED the place! We found it online and were extremely surprised when we checked in to see how beautiful it was. The staff were amazing, they were so friendly and remembered who you were. They were great at making bookings for us and giving us little tips to save us money. We also met the Manager a few times who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself was perfect. The rooms were exactly what we needed; nice and clean and very quiet. Their added facilities were superb. We made use of both swimming pools, one of which was the rooftop pool with a great swim up bar. They also had a gym which we used a few times. Their buffet breakfast was also great, everything you could want and it was pretty fresh. Finally their location was ideal. Right in the heart of Legian, about a 7 minute walk to the beach via their back entrance and a 20 minute walk to Kuta Square. It was right in amongst the hussle and bustle, with endless amounts of restaurants and shopping right outside the door. Thanks Akmani for making our holiday so amazing, we missed you guys once we left and if we ever come back to Bali, we will definitely be back!

Arrived a few days ago and have am very pleased with the Akmani. The location is great, the hotel is very clean and the rooftop pool is a great spot. Was picked up at the airport by a wonderful friendly driver Rian who pointed out some great tips for Bali. The staff are all very friendly and so helpful, I recommend this place highly!

The best thing about this hotel is the location. If you want to be right in the middle of the Legian hustle and bustle, this is your hotel. Other than that it is OK.

I couldn't fault the staff and the service which is warm friendly and attentive. Our room was pretty small and basic, but it was clean. Our room didn't face in towards the pool, so opening the window was not an option. The room was really well maintained, the only issue was that they did not always replenish supplies.

Other than breakfast, we did not eat in the hotel. Breakfast was basic but what they did have was good; but then, what can you expect for the price?

The rooftop pool was a great place to hang out, especially around sunset. Drinks are not excessively pricy and the food on offer was very reasonable (not that we ordered anything).

All in all, a very pleasant stay. Don't expect 5 star, but good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool. Not sure if extra, but well worth it.
