“Great value for the price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

We stayed here for a few nights to party in Kuta. We had previously been staying in private villas but this was perfect as we were not going to be lazing around the hotel much. The room was clean and tidy although a little small with a view of a wall, literally. But it was great for what we needed it for... A place to sleep off a hangover. The shower was a lil temperamental, not knowing if it wanted to be freezing cold or boiling hot. We had cable tv and an in room safe which was great. All the staff were lovely and the pool was really nice. Also the location is smack bang in the middle of town, extemely close to all the clubs and pubs! We left satisfied but couldn't wait to get out of Kuta and back to another private villa on the beach. But that's just us...

Room Tip: Get a room which opens to the pool or has a balcony. Otherwise you have a view of a wall...

I stayed 5 nights for holidays. On 1st March Vertical point was opened for hotel guests and public with famous DJ. Only few hotels in Bali you can have roof top viewing for sunset and have drinks, Akmani was one of them.
The staffs were welcome you with big smiles and assist you in need it.
Hotel breakfast was just perfect for what you want to have at morning.
If you come back from Kuta beach to hotel by walking you can find a lot of shops and nice restaurants.

Room Tip: Get the pool view room for nice view and relax.

Only stayed one night as stopover but its within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. The staff were friendly and obliging, rooms were clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the pool looked impressive as did the rooftop bar. It is tucked away from the main street and very quiet. They were still completing the spa so there was a little noise during the day.

Room Tip: A pool view room would be the best

Stayed for 4 nights in March 13. Nice new property along busy main road of Legian. Just a few steps from another hotel- 101 Legian. Shopping, massages, pubs and many eateries just steps away. Pool is well maintained. Gym has basic facilities and spa not ready.
Breakfast ok. Could be better with a change in the variety of fruits. Everyday the same.
The Grand Deluxe rooms although of a good size of 30sq m is rather compact - the reason being the bathroom occupying about a third of the room space.
There is no room for an extra bed.It is an above average tourist class property and would consider the room rates pricey if not for the free upgrade.
The concept of wood flooring for the bathroom shower area is not too practical.
One has to be very careful if you have children because the wood flooring has cracks and fallen off wood patches.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. As it is a new hotel with new staff, the front office personnel are not very efficient in handling guest check in/out
They made a mistake in my bed configuration request. A day before my check out I had reconfirm with them my bill statement sensing an abnormality but was assured is correct. Had to settle this upon returning home.
But this is only a small hiccup. Overall stay was pleasant.

I have stayed 14 nights in this hotel along with my wife our new born baby Zara... We loved every aspect of this hotel, however the most important asset of this hotel is its staff. They are very nice, sincere and a kind group of people. They have made our stay very enjoyable and have been very helpful to us with our baby whenever we needed their assistance. We were upgraded to a deluxe room facing the pool upon checking in and must say the rooms are awesome. The room has a very simple yet elegant design along with an awesome comfortable bed. We really loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again if we are in Bali. One suggestion would be that the management can speak to someone from Starbucks down the road and exchange ideas on how to increase the internet speed as it was slow for my taste. I totally recommend this hotel to everyone look forward to our next stay here at Akmani.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are nice.

I loved the AKMANI! Having visited Bali 12 times now and experienced many hotels my expectations were met and surpassed during my stay.

Firstly staff couldn't do enough to help you. Julita the sales manager went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience.

Hotel is located on Jalan Legian, nice and central to pubs, clubs, restaurants, shopping and short walk to the beach. So no matter what you are after it's not far away.

Hotel itself was clean, fantastic rooms. The balcony rooms are great with a view of the pool which gets plenty sun throughout the day so a great spot to chill out and relax.

Breakfast offered a good selection from continental to Indonesian and full hot buffet.

The rooftop jacuzzi pool and bar "vertical point" is a great spot to enjoy a evening cocktail and enjoy the sunset over Legian beach.

I couldn't fault the hotel as everything was to a high standard, great staff, amenities, free wifi, great pool and location. It will definitely be on my list to visit next trip to Bali!

This is our third stop on our month long holiday, booked thru Wotif @$68 dollars a night for three nights inc brekky and free upgrade to grand deluxe pool view. Although new and still undergoing some work, this is a fantastic hotel. Great location, staff are the best we have encountered so far, welcoming and actually asking how our stay has been, cannot speak highly enough of the fantastic staff. Room service quick, tasty and great value. Rooms overlooking pool new, modern and spacious. Location approx 400m to memorial, clubs and bars, although surrounded by a few bars and restaurants. Beautiful pool, although as mentioned by a previous review could probably do with a few more sun lounges around pool. Very happy with all facets of this hotel, would definitely stay here again, and have recommended it to others.

Room Tip: Grand deluxe pool view
