“Would I stay again not sure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014 via mobile

When we arrived we were less than impressed with the room it was like a closet and this was a bungalow we spoke to reception and was moved to another bungalow that had more windows so we did not feel so trapped
Hotel grounds lovely
Breakfast nice but never any variety always the same
Wi if kept dropping in and out
The bungalows are not noise proof we could hear everything from the room next door and they had kids so noise was quite loud
Great location to restaurants and massages
Would I come back ... Maybe after trying another hotel to compare

Just returned from 12 days at the Legian in Bali.
Super warm, attentive staff!
Best location. I mean best!
Pools are great and easy to get chairs.
The daily buffet is great. Would cost $35+ in Los Angeles.
They nail it in every aspect.
If someone doesn't love this place they are mental.
Wonderful, clean, neat, quiet and the friendliest staff on earth!
AAA+
I booked it based solely on Tripadvisor reviews.
Spot on.
I had never been to Bali and now I'll always go to the Legian(as it's called).
No Question about it.

Room Tip: Deluxe Garden Bungalow was great. 90 Seconds to the sand on the beach! It's an underpriced ho...

Amazing location, right on the beach; beautiful grounds; clean rooms; friendly staff; great breakfast (the best we had in Bali). Delicious food and great ambience, especially in the International Restaurant.

I have stayed here several times. Always a great experience. The staff are friendly, service excellent. Love the new restaurant wing which has updated the hotel a lot. Good swimming pools, easy access to the beach.

Room Tip: I always go for the Deluxe Pool Villas - own pool, quiet, very nice.

Overall we were disappointed with the Legian Beach. Location is the only positive in that it is directly onto the beach. Mosquitos are a real problem both in & outside the rooms. We found the Staff not as friendly as other hotels we have stayed in Bali. During our 12 night stay there was many times at breakfast when there was no crockery or clean tables, wait staff did not go out of their way to provide clean..

Room Tip: Bring lots of fly repellant & coils if you want to sit outside in the evening.

We stayed here with a large group of friends and were very happy with it overall. After an initial mess up with our accommodation separating us from our 10 and 12 year old children in a beach bungalow by having strangers in the room between us and our children this was quite quickly rectified. Great restaurants and pools

Wonderful beachfront resort. The rooms closer to the pool are fantastic. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic every morning with a great variety. The 2 pools were wonderful and plenty of room. The gardens were amazing. No request was too hard and the staff were very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Definitely worth checking out specials with upgrades.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the pool - beautiful!
